It’s Friday afternoon, 12:45pm. Google says they open at 11:00am. Restaurant is closed, no lights on, door is locked, no ‘be right back’ sign on the door. Too bad, I was looking to give the place a try and an honest review. If your restaurant isn’t open when you say you’ll be open, that’s pretty difficult to do.

We ordered pancit canton and it looks and taste nothing like it.. the menudo was ok but still not worth the money we paid.. the owners are nice and welcoming but the food was 1/10.

I originally gave this place a great review because the food really was good, but only a few days after I ate there it got shut down because of a roach infestation. The fact that I was served food when there was such an obvious issue going on is incredibly disrespectful (the reports stated many live and dead roaches found, along with egg sacks). The owner should have shut down the restaurant themselves to deal with this instead of continuing to serve people food and having to be shut down by the health inspectors. So disgusted
Food was amazing we met the owner/chef she did the work of 3 ppl! She was so kind. We dined in lunch and also ended up order dinner to go!

Hangry Dobo is truly a hidden gem near UCF. The food here is exceptional, and the portion sizes are incredibly generous, giving you great value for your money. The Adobo chicken is an absolute standout with its rich and flavorful taste that's simply to die for. This Filipino hole-in-the-wall restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious and satisfying meals.I also must mention the exceptional service at Hangry Dobo. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their warm and attentive service truly adds to the overall charm of this hidden gem near UCF. It's not just about the fantastic food; it's also about the wonderful people who make your visit special.
The pancit bihon was spot on. If you want great flavor and authentic taste, this is the place. The only thing missing from the adobo was hard boiled eggs soaked in the juices (which we added at our house). The lumpia was a bit salty for our liking as we don’t use as much sodium in our meals. Overall

They insisted this is their sizzling pork sisig when I tried to question that this look like adobo with fried egg. Beware do not go here.

The reviews here are 100% fake. They are from a company the buyer paid to get 5 stars.I'm saying this because the food is expensive, massively oily, and has absolutely no taste. The service is lacking. I'm ashamed to have this store represent tasteless and oily Filipino food to the community.Avoid at all costs. There are far, far, better Filipino restaurants in the area.

Let me start by saying I haven't eaten plenty of Filipino food, but I've had Filipino neighbors in California and the mother taught my wife how to cook some of their popular dishes. My wife: she cooks so well that many folks wanted her to open a restaurant and she catered to groups of around 500 people.I ordered takeout. Pancit Canton. The food was plentiful but overpriced. No way should pancit noodles, vegetables and a few slices of meat cost $18. I'm not sure what sauce they used but we couldn't get past the smell. If it was fish sauce and if it's the brand what Filipinos use to cook with then bless them. The Fried Rice with shrimp was the best to me, but how hard is it to cook fried rice? Also cost a whopping $18!Lechon Kawali was okay but it wasn't crispy on the outside and had some fat. Lumpia? My wife liked it. Total bill with tip was over $100.Personally I believe a lot of the 5 stars are from young taste buds, college students. In all my reviews I think I only gave a 2 or 3 star before. My 3 stars here is because I'm being nice and there was plenty of rice and noodles.I have no problem paying for food but it has to at least be a 4 star. I can't see recommending this restaurant unless you're a hungry college student.

I recently dined at Hangry Dobo, an authentic Filipino restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The standout dishes were the mouthwatering Lechon Kawali, with its crispy yet tender pork belly, the delectable Lumpia that burst with savory goodness, and the unforgettable Chicken Adobo, a perfect blend of tangy and savory that left me craving for more. Hangry Dobo is a true gem for anyone seeking genuine Filipino cuisine, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. Five stars all the way!
Hangry Dobo is a hidden treasure for Filipino food lovers. The Lechon Kawali, Lumpia, and Chicken Adobo are exceptional, capturing the true essence of Filipino cuisine. The cozy atmosphere and warm service make every visit a delight. Five-star experience, highly recommended!
