I have visited this Cuban restaurant spot over the last 10 years when visiting the area for work and it is consistently great. The portions are large. The owner is very accommodating. And the apps and main entrees are terrific. My friends also felt it was excellent. I am not Cuban, but I can state the food is excellent. It’s not a chain. Locally owned. And very clean! Highly recommend.

We keep coming back because the food is really good—true Cuban food. The owner removed the service fee, which we didn’t see on the receipt and really appreciated. We still left a 20% tip. Great food and a pleasant experience 👍

We walked in around 3:30 on a Saturday and it was completely empty. Why, I don’t know, because the food and service were excellent. My child had the palomilla with white rice and my mom and I both ordered the ropa vieja with moros (they call it congri). Everything was super flavorful. Is it a little expensive? Yes, but considering it’s in a touristy neighborhood, that’s to be expected. The server (possible owner?) was very friendly.
I will absolutely be visiting...
