Was in the area and needed to find a herbal store, which happened to be next door to the restaurant Mamak (yellow awning).Had a list of specific herbs I wanted and the lady behind the counter was definitely rude and poor customer service.The herbs were kept behind the counter in drawers and she used these dirty looking paper plates to measure the herbs, which were then placed on dirty looking scale. No lines or parchment paper used.I really wanted to cancel what I needed once I seen the way the herbs were handled.She used the same pair of gloves to handle the money, herbs, etc. Which is not sanitary in itself.Not sure the shelf life of the herbs to test their real effectiveness.I would recommend going to a more warming and inviting herbal store that may see more traffic so the supply is replenished, and we're the owners/ staff is more pleasant.Thinking about throwing the herbs away TBH.

When I went there, I was looking for a TEA to bring my voice back and the lady just told me to sit down, she came back with medicine and I specifically STATED that I needed a TEA because I can’t drink medicine. She charged me $170 claiming it was “tea” but it wasn’t. I tried it TWICE and it made me throw up, I came back and she still insist it was tea. I’m very upset that she charged me all that money and when I came back because the medicine wasn’t working she refused to do anything else.
