Horrible, unprofessional service. They accepted tables tonight extremely short-staffed and we had to keep chasing servers down, the owner sent a bunch of random plates to our table, drinks came only after several reminders, and what we did ask for never came. The owner then had the audacity to only offer a $9 discount per person. We paid $200 for a subpar, disjointed experience. Save your money and go to Sushiyama instead!

I am giving 5 stars for the food based on previous visits, because this time I didn’t even get to see the food. First of all, when we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty outside, and even so it took them 20 minutes just to do the initial service and tell us we could sit outside. I asked if the service would be the same outside, and they even made a joke: “It’s going to be so good that, if you want, I can even feed you the sushi.” We sat at the outside table and the person in charge said they would take our first order and come back in 5 minutes to get the drink order. Fifteen minutes passed and there was no food or drinks. We left after almost 40 minutes of absolutely nothing. A total disregard and lack of respect for the customer.

With all the sushi restaurants avaliable in Orlando, youre really shooting yourself in the foot choosing this one. I'll be honest, the atmosphere and the service were great. The staff was friendly and the vibes felt nice. But oh man, I should have guessed this would be the case by the fact that not a single Japanese person working there.:

I swear one of the rolls had strawberry jam on it. And even the sashimi left a bad taste in your mouth, literally.
I had come here years prior, and they had these fun, creatice sushi rolls. They weren't the best but the place had just opened. I figured at this point they would have improved. But to my dismay the quality is worse and it seems they've put all thier eggs in the all-you-can-eat basket. the unfortunate thing is, after you pay the the $39, you quickly realize you don't want to eat much.
Tl;Dr If you want really quick and friendly service but some bad sushi, You should come here.

We came in for the all you can eat experience and Gabby was very attentive and helpful explaining the different types of selections guiding us with the right option for the family since I had 2 little ones with me 11&13 and they are picky eaters but tonight she made that easy. Thank you

Our server was the managers wife. They had their 2 small kids running around the entire restaurant. Running up to tables and interrupting when we were talking to the server. Crawling around on the floor, yelling and screaming. Would have been a nice dinner if it weren’t so unprofessional. The manager sat at a table the whole time with some friends and did nothing to control the children or keep them out of the mother’s way while she worked. Only two tables when we got there and the food took sooooo long and orders came incorrect. Not worth the $39 for such limited options.

This place is my favorite sushi in Florida, Gabi is one of the best’s servers, always smiling and very caring about my orders. The food deserves an award, the truffle carpaccio, the torched Djos are my favorite! I wish I could eat everyday!
