Here's my 2nd review for the same evening at the Marriott. This was a sports bar...I get it...but I expected more from the brand. I ordered the "blacked fish sandwich" with fries. Another seemingly phone-in item. Bland sandwich that I couldn't finish and limp fries. When I was waiting for a table, another couple said "avoid the wings." I'm glad I did. The server was fine; no complaints there.
The lights came up at 10:20 during MNF; there was a good amount of game left. There was a resounding "awwwww" from that packed house. Another mood-killer.
I would much rather write positive reviews...give me a reason!

I ordered nachos. The portion size is excellent. The guacamole was ok. Texture perfect. Just missing something. Maybe seasoning to bring it home. Chips were flimsy and broke easily I had to double up to scoop. The cheese was fantastic! Needed more jalapenos. My husband had the wings and wasn't satisfied and stole some of my chips. Atmosphere was a little loud but we could hear each other talk. Prices were ok for the location. Service was exceptional! Friendly. Fat. Attentive. If I could give 6 stars for service I would.

Stayed at this resort last week, and I wish we had gone to this place at the beginning of the week, because we would have eaten all our meals here. Food was amazing, staff was on top of things, and so friendly. I wish we had one where I live. Everything about this place is AMAZING.
Food was horrible. We ordered the teriyaki wings and chicken strips, the sauce was overwhelming and drowned out the food. We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower; there was nothing Buffalo about the nuggets, the flavor was extremely lacking. We ordered the Goddess hummus and it was not traditional garlic hummus, very herby... with parsley and basil, it had a very bland taste. Upon complaining about the lack of flavor and the fact that the food was barely eaten, the server said, "I wish you would've complained before I closed you out." Not good customer service. We paid full price and left over a 25% tip. The bill was almost $200 for bland, barely eaten food.

I had finished a conference at the convention centre in the Marriot and decided to treat my husband and I to a nice meal. We read the reviews of all the restaurants at the Marriott and we picked High Velocity. The food was amazing from appetizers to main course to the to die for skillet cookie with ice cream. They also had craft beers and a nice wine list. Our server David was very attentive and engaging. The ambiance was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Ignore any bad reviews. My husband is in the restaurant business he was very impressed and that's hard to do.
Had the Chicken Roulade and was pleasantly surprised. Surprisingly fast and great service.

I'm mostly here to write about Juan, our bartender. I actually sought out the manager to tell her what an amazing job he was doing and she said to write about it here. (Hoping Juan still got a pat on the back from her.)Juan was the fastest, friendliest bartender I have seen in a long time. He was so busy, yet, always checked on everyone, smiled and served drinks to both the patrons and the other servers at the service bar.All of this is to say, if you arrive on a busy night at High Velocity, and Juan is tending bar...don't you worry...he'll get you your drinks in no time.We got the steak with butter sauce and the giant pretzel. Both were amazing.

Staff were friendly and acknowledging. Our server was busy with a large table and another member of the staff took our order and brought us waters! Classic burger, orange blossom pilsner, fried pickle chips, and chicken wrap were delicious. Classic burger was made exactly to doneness requested, was juicy, and had fresh purple onion, tomatoes, and lettuce.
Food was average. Just your typical burger and wings place. Service was excellent tho, very attentive staff. The ambiance was great; there was a big game going on (Eagles V Cowboys) and the energy was crazy.
Typical sports bar. Bad food. Bad service. Green chicken ? Why was my chicken green? How? W?F! Weak draft beer. I always order bottle beer. Nope... he decided to serve me a draft . Then also decided that I wanted the 22oz. Not the 16oz. Why are they making decisions for me. I also wanted a booth. Nope... total of 3 people in the entire restaurant, and they wouldn't give me a booth. Go there to watch sports and drink bottle beer. That's it ! No more than that. This review is real. All others MUST ! Be ! Fake!

Food was great but everything else was poor. Waited 25 minutes to be seated. Then, once at the table, our order wasn't taken for another 25 minutes. Ordered burgers and wings, took about 30 minutes to get our meal. We stopped in for a quick bite that took nearly two hours.
