I'm a truck driver and whenever I deliver to FL. I go to Caribbean restaurants.This was by far my favorite me and my wife really enjoyed it. The flavor of the food was amazing. We got jerk chicken and and oxtails rice and peas with gravy. It was so good I'm back here the morning after typing this!!

I ordered the Jerk Chicken, steam cabbage and plantains for a work event and it did not disappoint!! My eyes teared with happiness and Ms. Laverne is so sweet! She definitely made me one of her regulars just off of this one meal. 1000/10 :)

I bought food for the office and this is real Caribbean cooking. I grew up in Jamaica so 'mi know what mi talking bout'. We did take away and Lavern was on point. My new best spot to have lunch. Food was awesome. Curry chicken, Jerk Chicken and Pineapple Curry Chicken. My guys are left wanting more.

My first time here was a great experience overall..The customer service was great (I even got a sample B4 ordering thanks) I ordered a large curry goat and 2 piece fried chicken..it was delicious. Everything was well balanced in flavor texture and freshness..a bit pricy but good..

Went here to grab some lunch and everything was great. The service was fast. The owner was really really nice. I was able to get some shrimp hibachi for lunch, and I was able to grab the large oxtail plate, which was also good. Everything came out flavorful and hot. I will definitely be back as the lunch menu was really worth it. Inside was OK but I just grabbed my meal to go and everything turned out delicious. The place gives you island vibes as in Caribbean island vibes so it's nice that they have a twist hibachi to it.
A little taste of the Caribbean in Orlando!! Compliments to the chef the food was truly authentic and amazing custom made to order seafood plus the hibachi grill is top tier the lunch specials are quite delicious. I visit Orlando quite often and this was my first time finding this particular little restaurant when I visit again I certainly will go for another meal

I visit this Caribbean restaurant every Friday to purchase the best cornmeal porridge and Florida! Also, love the Aki and sawfish as these are my two favorite breakfast dishes. If you are visiting or a local, you must stop by every Friday and Saturday to try the corn Mill porridge.

If you like hibachi and/or Caribbean food then do yourself a favor and check out Island Flamed! Jerk chicken is one of my favorite foods, and hibachi doesn't fall far behind, so this fusion concept jumped out to me. As it was my first time, I went with Jerk Chicken but opted for the hibachi style fried rice to make it a true Caribbean Hibachi meal. It also came with spicy cabbage which was fantastic. The jerk chicken was perfectly tender and moist and coated with jerk seasoning - which really made the fried rice a unique and enjoyable new flavor! I spent most of my meal talking with one of the operators (Lee) who couldn't have been nicer. He even brought me a sample of the Ackee and Saltfish to try. The menu is deep, including favorites like oxtail and curry goat, along with traditional teryaki and other hibachi flavors. I will definitely be back again to try more soon!
