I love the history in this place and the story of Mr. Rosen's father and his actual drawings that were all over the walls of the restaurant. The food was really amazing. Excellent cocktails and a small, but great choice of wines. The food and ambience would suggest a better selection of higher-end liquors and wines. I would have expected a place like this have high-end Gin like Monkey 47 / Nolets, or Alchemist, or something a little higher than Bombay or Hendricks. I'm a gin martini guy, so I always expect to see nice gins in a great restaurant like this, but was a little disappointed in that regard.

We had a truly wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was perfectly suited for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly nature of the entire staff. Every dish we tried was expertly prepared and delicious. We look forward to returning again soon.

The service was great and the food was wonderful. But the bread service was not so great, undercooked bread and I was not a fan of their take on an Italian olive oil bread dip. But overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend, and staff as always at a Rosen property were great!

Loved the atmosphere & fresh baked bread service with fresh pesto and butter . The ribeye was amazing, perfectly cooked to mid-rare! Sides of au gratin potatoes and pan seared veggies were both delicious, crisp tender & well seasoned ( not too salty). The cocktails were delicious, old fashioned and a gin cocktail . The caricature artist was fun, took our pic and came back with a drawing. We loved it and gave him a nice tip. We will go back .

We went on Christmas Eve, and it was surprisingly very quiet! It was nice to have a relaxing Christmas Eve dinner! I had their three course meal, everything was amazing. My husband had steak and said it was delicious, especially with the hollandaise sauce! Both desserts we had were wonderful as well. Our server was very friendly as well. Highly recommend Jacks Place if you are looking for a nice relaxing dinner spot!

I was in town for an event and went to the lobby to get a meal. Lorenzo went above and beyond to take care of our table. He is very friendly, welcoming, and makes excellent recommendations. I am vegetarian and even though there was not a vegetarian option in the lobby bar, he was able to get us the vegan steak to our table. The vegan steak was ABSOLUTELY delicious. The best I have had! Thanks Rosen for having the option and for Lorenzo for taking care of us. I definitely recommend eating here!

We arrived early and were seated right away. Our drinks arrived almost before we ordered them. Then came 3 different kinds of hot bread served with soft butter and a killer pesto. Our server, Ashley, was right there to take our order. We noticed an October special online, so we ordered from the prix fixe menu and what a great deal it was for only $50. I had the onion soup, which was really delicious with lots of cheese. My wife had the grilled romaine salad and she loved it. I ordered the filet mignon, in the 10oz version. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were very good too, divine potatoes au gratin and delicious carrots and broccolini. My wife had the salmon, made special for her and it came with rice and those great vegetables. We were so full that we took our cheesecake with mixed berries back to our room. Later that night, we indulged in the cheesecake and berries, delicious. I have to say that I was shocked at how good both the food and the service was since this is in a hotel. Normally, hotel food is good but expensive. This was great and extremely reasonable. The next time we are in Orlando for another convention, we will definitely stay at the Rosen Plaza and enjoy another tremendous meal at Jack's Place.

We had friends from out of state visiting and the four of us celebrated, including one of us having a birthday. The waitress seemed to have 1/2 the restaurant as her "section" and she did an amazing job keeping up and serving us.

The regular restaurant Jacks Place was full so we went to the bar to eat dinner. It was basically the same menu. What made this place special was our server Lorenzo. He was friendly, attentive, and understanding of food allergies. Lorenzo kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. Be sure to ask for him. We talked to the manager Wes to tell him how good Lorenzo was and he told us he hires only the best. He was very friendly as well.
