The food was delicious,I ordered the Surf and Turf and my steak came out as requested also everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. awesome service from the hostess that greeted us when we arrived to our waiter. I would highly recommend Jacks place, looking forward to returning...thank you

Jack’s Place feels like a shadow of its former self. Once a high-profile hotspot, it now comes across as dated and uninspired. The walls are plastered with autographed caricatures of celebrities, which in today’s world feels more kitsch than classy. Service was fine, prompt, professional, and attentive.
We started with the calamari. It was cooked well, but the sauce was totally mismatched. Not bad, just unnecessary. Then came the entrees. On a quiet weekday night, they still took far too long to hit the table. I had the Filet Mignon and my girlfriend had the Lamb Chops. My filet was cooked correctly, but completely lacked seasoning. It was so bland I could not even finish it. The sides were just as disappointing. Mixed vegetables were tough and flavorless, and garlic mashed potatoes screamed “from a box.” The chef’s attempt at adding garlic powder barely masked the processed taste. My girlfriend’s lamb chops were cooked well but again totally underseasoned, with sides equally uninspiring.
Dessert did not redeem the meal. My girlfriend liked the crème brûlée, but my triple chocolate cake tasted off, like it had been sitting too long. One bite was enough. At least the desserts were complimentary, but still SMH.
Jack’s Place simply does not live up to its reputation. Between the lack of seasoning, uninspired sides, and outdated menu, it is hard to justify the price. With some serious updates, it could reclaim its former glory, but as of now, I just cannot recommend it.

I rarely (pun intended) leave reviews but this place was a pleasant surprise and so I felt compelled. We stayed at the Rosen Plaza and looked for places off the property to eat. After being around so many people for the past few days we decided to just stay here and eat and not leave the property. This place truly exceeded our expectations. It was super chill atmosphere (compared to the insane chain and theme places like Disney or other steak chains) and our steaks were perfectly cooked, loved the seasoning, and very tender - I know steaks and this tasted aged or prime or both (I always cook my own prime at home) - super impressed. Our waitress Amal was fabulous - she recommended the Napa Chappellet which was perfect. The accompanying veggies like the potato gratin, broccolini and an actual carved carrot (not the out of the bag finger carrots) were NOT an afterthought but instead very tasty and seasoned perfectly. If you are staying here please don’t hesitate to eat here - skip the even more expensive places nearby and hit this. You wont regret it IMO.

A great highlight is an artist will do a charicatur of you. We liked it and left him a nice tip. The service was super, attentive and knowledgeable. Meatball starter was flavorful and good texture. The czar salad, fresh and dressed nicely. The ribeye, very high quality, tender, well seasoned and perfect mid-rare as we asked. Good portion for two people . The only negative was presentation: the steak was totally covering the beautiful au gratin potatoes as well as the perfectly done broccolini, carrots and squash.
The old fashioned was perfect. The Einstein cocktail was delicious but was in an ordinary tall water glass? It did have a dried grapefruit on as garnish.
I would definitely eat here again!

The burger was pretty decent, but do not waste your time on the crème brûlée unless you want to blow $14 on 1/8 inch of custard. I thought I was having a hard time cracking through the brûlée but It was actually the bottom of the dish. The whole dish was like scraping the bottom of the bowl. Nothing creamy left to contrast the crunch. Thoroughly disappointing. Killed the finish of the meal. I can’t believe the server recommended this when I was torn between two options. I expressed disappointment and got, “oh I guess I should’ve warned you about that”.

Dining at Jack's Place was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for an elegant and relaxing evening. The service was absolutely impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and every detail was handled with care. The food? Simply amazing. While Jack's Place is renowned for its steak and seafood, I opted for the 1/2 rotisserie chicken, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! Perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor, it was easily one of the best dishes I've ever had. It's rare to find a restaurant that excels across the board, but Jack's Place truly delivers. If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Orlando with exceptional food, top-notch service, and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere, Jack's Place is the place to be. Highly recommended!
Delicious food, service was great too. Had a guy doing caricatures of you to take home which added to the atmosphere and theming of this place. Highly recommend!

First, I would like to say Thank You to Ashley for an amazing dinning experience and your wine suggestion (Fidelity: Red Zinfidel) went perfectly with my meal. I came here to celebrate something very special and important to me and you made the experience perfect. Truly, thank you.
I had the Ribeye (cooked perfectly) with a side of Sea Scallops (also cooked perfectly). I'd also like to mention the pesto spread for the bread is outstanding- so good. For dessert, I had the Opera Cake - and wonderful ending to an amazing meal.
I hope to return to celebrate more special occasions.

We arrived early and were seated right away. Our drinks arrived almost before we ordered them. Then came 3 different kinds of hot bread served with soft butter and a killer pesto. Our server, Ashley, was right there to take our order. We noticed an October special online, so we ordered from the prix fixe menu and what a great deal it was for only $50. I had the onion soup, which was really delicious with lots of cheese. My wife had the grilled romaine salad and she loved it. I ordered the filet mignon, in the 10oz version. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were very good too, divine potatoes au gratin and delicious carrots and broccolini. My wife had the salmon, made special for her and it came with rice and those great vegetables. We were so full that we took our cheesecake with mixed berries back to our room. Later that night, we indulged in the cheesecake and berries, delicious. I have to say that I was shocked at how good both the food and the service was since this is in a hotel. Normally, hotel food is good but expensive. This was great and extremely reasonable. The next time we are in Orlando for another convention, we will definitely stay at the Rosen Plaza and enjoy another tremendous meal at Jack's Place.
We had friends from out of state visiting and the four of us celebrated, including one of us having a birthday. The waitress seemed to have 1/2 the restaurant as her "section" and she did an amazing job keeping up and serving us.
I don't know where the cook went to school but it wasn't culinary school. That bearnaise sauce tastes nothing like bearnaise. It is really not that hard is it? The veggies are undercooked and inedible. Only think that was properly cooked was the meat.

Ate here during Magical Dining. Great experience, great service, great food. We all had steak, crab meat salad and chocolate cake but I chose the key lime. Yum!
