Dining at Jack's Place was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for an elegant and relaxing evening. The service was absolutely impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and every detail was handled with care. The food? Simply amazing. While Jack's Place is renowned for its steak and seafood, I opted for the 1/2 rotisserie chicken, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! Perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor, it was easily one of the best dishes I've ever had. It's rare to find a restaurant that excels across the board, but Jack's Place truly delivers. If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Orlando with exceptional food, top-notch service, and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere, Jack's Place is the place to be. Highly recommended!
We arrived early and were seated right away. Our drinks arrived almost before we ordered them. Then came 3 different kinds of hot bread served with soft butter and a killer pesto. Our server, Ashley, was right there to take our order. We noticed an October special online, so we ordered from the prix fixe menu and what a great deal it was for only $50. I had the onion soup, which was really delicious with lots of cheese. My wife had the grilled romaine salad and she loved it. I ordered the filet mignon, in the 10oz version. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were very good too, divine potatoes au gratin and delicious carrots and broccolini. My wife had the salmon, made special for her and it came with rice and those great vegetables. We were so full that we took our cheesecake with mixed berries back to our room. Later that night, we indulged in the cheesecake and berries, delicious. I have to say that I was shocked at how good both the food and the service was since this is in a hotel. Normally, hotel food is good but expensive. This was great and extremely reasonable. The next time we are in Orlando for another convention, we will definitely stay at the Rosen Plaza and enjoy another tremendous meal at Jack's Place.
We had friends from out of state visiting and the four of us celebrated, including one of us having a birthday. The waitress seemed to have 1/2 the restaurant as her "section" and she did an amazing job keeping up and serving us.
I ordered the 6oz filet and it was so salty but tender and moist. It was cooked medium well- not medium as requested. Once the au poivre sauce was brought this was the perfect compliment to my steak. My friend ordered surf and turf and loved the surf part of her meal but also commented that the filet mignon was too salty as well and that it was over cooked as she ordered medium rare and she received a medium filet. The Creme brûlée was a disaster having no Creme whatsoever- only sugary carmelized topping so was inedible. Our server took that off our bill. The ciopionni (sp?) soup was delicious and my husband ordered one of the specials -prime rib which he loved! The cocktails were very good. Just missed the mark this time but we will be back again.
Our filets were excellent! Very tasty! The bread, the salads, and the desserts were all wonderful too!
Kudos to the chef and staff of Jack's Place. The food is consistently superbly prepared and the service is exemplary. A great value.
very good ddinner and great service. food was presented and cooked well. clam chowder, and key lime pie & chocolate were all very tasty. waitress very attentive and great service
Service was excellent. We requested a bottle of Santa Cristina which isn't on the wine list menu in the restaurant but is at the bar. The bar bottle price and restaurant bottle price should be the same. We were charged almost $20 over. Food was excellent
This is our 2nd visit and we enjoyed it as much as our first. The food and service are excellent. Very unique and interesting place showcasing the beautiful caricatures of Mr Rosen's father. This is a unique experience that we highly recommend.
The noise level was high because we were around the bend from the bar where many had gathered to watch a college football game. This was our second time at Jack's Place and there was no disappointment. The service as wonderful and the food, delicious! We'll definitely return.

We went a group. The place is nice inside. The restaurant is located inside a hotel. The area outside was nice but a little crowded. But once we got inside it was a whole different whole very elegant and the ambiance was wonderful. The staff was great, polite and friendly. They even had someone that does the caricature faces love that. The food was beyond great. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection. The chocolate mousse was divine. We went for magical dinning. Great value for all the food served. Definitely a must try restaurant.
Overall, it was excellent. My only issue is that after spending a few hundred dollars on a a meal for four, we were charged $23 for parking after we were told it was free.
This restaurant is located inside the Rosen plaza, it is nice, the food was good. The service was a little lackluster, you could hear the constant shuffle of waiters not being able to pick up silverware off tables correctly or talking amongst themselves.
We went for magical dining, all the courses of the meal were great and delicious. The atmosphere of the inside of the restaurant is lovely, your classic American Steakhouse lots of dark tones and leather. The lobby of the hotel itself is very outdated and very cold and stale.
There is self-parking which is $22 I believe you get a discount down to $15 if you eat inside the restaurant and get validated. Our validation tickets didn't work and the restaurant was closed when we went back in, but they were nice enough to let us out for free.

It was a great dining experience! The ambiance was amazing and everyone loved their meal. The stars of the night were the meatballs and the short rib. The salmon was also amazing! We'd definitely revisit when we're back in the area.
Amal (our server) was amazing! We had her last year when we came to celebrate my cousin's 60th birthday and were fortunate enough to have her again. Our filet mignon melted in our mouths and were cooked exactly as we had ordered them. Our desserts (chocolate mousse) were light and full of flavor. Another wonderful meal! We'll be back next year.
