Of all the places we ate while at Universal this was by far the worst. Food was mediocre at best but still extremely overpriced (as one would expect here, but still). The menu says Lowes serves organic, but everything still appeared to be standard, frozen bar food here. The burratta salad notes heirloom tomatoes, but they were still pale, standard salad wedges and the burratta was the smallest mound of cheese I've seen. One of our meals still had toppings requested to be removed. It was just an overall disappointment and, with all the options around, including others within the Lowes Royal Pacific Hotel, save yourself some disappointment and go anywhere else.

Got the chicken BBQ flatbread and the chicken ceaser wrap. The chicken on the flatbread so so dry and hard it might as well been jerky. On the ceaser wrap I asked for no tomatoes and there was pieces and so much tomato juice. It looks like someome put them on then re-read and pulled them off. The onion rings were also just soggy. Table next to me sat down 30 minutes after us. Got thier food, ate and payed. All before I I was able to get the check and finish paying. I've stayed at all the other universal hotels. This one is by FAR no were even close to the others when it comes to food.

We came here for lunch while waiting for our room to be ready. The food took an hour to come out even though there were only 3 tables total and 4 waiters. The cheese for the pretzels was very thin and bland. The dishes as a whole lacked seasoning. One of my group said the salad was good (had baby spinach and heirloom tomatoes).

1. Service was terrible. 2. Took forever to get food and was not the busy ate there at approximately 2:30. 3. Buns on Maui fish sandwich and a hamburger were so soggy they were falling apart. Could hold bun and eat it due to sogginess of bottom bun. 4. Got a salad and had no dressing until meal was almost complete. 5. Forgot mixed drink for almost the entire meal. 6. Got my son a wrong drink then didn’t get it corrected until we were ready to leave. Only good thing was the beer was cold! Very disappointing and expensive meal.

This place was horrible. Horrible atmosphere service and food. We sat outside under a bridge, there was no music or any form of ambiance. I could hear the lights and machinery buzzing. The service was slow as can be it took us almost an hour for one appetizer and one drink. The mezze platter tasted like frozen food. The vegetables were not fresh and the tzatziki was so watery and looked like salad dressing. A shame it was $18, such a waste. Definitely do not recommend this place at all.

Loved it! Server lefty was great and our food was even better. We got the buffalo chicken wrap and the burger. The fries were AMAZING! The wings are super popular but I didn’t think they were worth the hype. I’ve never had an espresso martini served in a glass like this, though lol.

My family recently had an awful experience at Jake's Bar. The server was incredibly inattentive, taking over 35 minutes to bring out our meal after having to flag him down ourselves, which consisted of just three appetizers and one sandwich. To make matters worse, the sandwich was made incorrectly. Although the manager did come over to try to rectify the situation, by that point, we were beyond frustrated. We had spent the whole day at the park and were extremely hungry, only to be served bland, unappetizing food.
The manager ended up comping our meal, but it was too little, too late. The service was abysmal, and a simple update on the status of our food would have made a world of difference. Overall, the experience was dreadful, and I certainly won't be returning to Jake's.
Service was wonderful. Food is meh ! Wings were decent. Ribeye was overdone and came with ketchup(needed it), potatoes undercooked and asparagus was ok. My family said the brisket was good and the fettuccine was ok.

Just like most places in this place very expensive. Hamburger and French Fries $20 plus ended up getting the fish and chips for $28 and good size pieces of mahi mahi and French fries. Coating on mahi mahi good taste but soggy and ton of oil. Taking coating off Mahi Mahi was good. Draft beer range $11 alright selection on Tap. Of course after you get the bill there is Tax and the resort service fee. For 1 person 1 Beer and Fish and Chips with tip 52 dollars. Adriana was very very nice and service was great from her standpoint. Some of the others didn't seem as friendly. Wanted to get the wings but $20 for 6 wings pretty steep!

We have been coming to this hotel for 10 years in a row now and this restaurant used to be so good. It started going downhill maybe 2 years ago and the food is NOT the same. It’s not cooked properly, ever, anymore, and I can say this with 100% certainty because we keep giving it chances hoping it has improved since our last visit but it hasn’t. We eat most of our meals offsite now, which can be a hassle when you’re here for 7 days, which we are. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

BBQ chicken pizza was really dry and only had about 8 pieces of chicken (probably 2 oz total) on it. Mostly crust. Caesar salad was also dry, with huge pieces of lettuce and the chicken tasted like cardboard. Only thing that made it ok was that it had AC and cold drinks. Would not recommend.
