I get carry out at Jax once or twice a week as I work close by. ALWAYS great food, happy friendly staff (much needed these days) and good value. Spinach Salad, Greek Salad and Cool Hand Cuke sandwich are my favs!

so first off don't sit outside after a rain...mosquito army! We moved inside and good ambiance and good service. Food was great but didnt have all ingredients. Avocado toast was amazing but only came with one egg. Other than that no complaints. My girlfriend got the roast beef sliders. She loved the jalapeno bear cheese on it and the fries were phenomenal. Live music good addition. Server Ang did great.

I love this place. I have been there many times and it's never busy. I don't know why. The bartenders are awesome and the food is great. If you want a good beer and a delicious sandwich please visit.

Food was okay but service was horrible, better off going to one of 300 other bars next door. I’ve never had such a defensive, argumentative staff at a bar ever in my life. For such a low volume place, y’all sure have problems

Visited the downtown location on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. The outside had a good amount of people but the inside, were we sat, only had table 1 table occupied and about 4 people at the bar. We waited about 15 mins for someone to great the table at which time we receive menus and the 3 of us gave our drink orders. About 10 mins later we received our drinks and told our waiter we are ready to order. He said he needed a minute and would be right back. 10 mins later we see him dropping of a check to other table, coming back to that table for the payment, and back again to drop off the card. We waited another 10 mins and still he never came back. After 35 mins or more we were done. I cashed out at the bar where a female server cashed us out and she even asked our server about the bill. He never said a word to us. I have always liked Jax, but this is my first time to this location. What a waste of time. Very disappointing

I’m almost reluctant to post this review because it’s such a hidden gem I’d prefer it not get packed— but I LOVE this place. Fantastic food for prices that are almost too good to be true, fantastic personalities behind the bar (Allie was amazing) and overall great atmosphere. Keep up the work Jax, you just found yourself a new regular
Service was great. Our appetizers were perfect. Caprese salad and a warm pretzel with beer cheese were on point. Highly recommend.

Inside is dark, modern, well kept with slightly whimsical decorations, and playing jazz obviously. Staff is friendly and service was relatively quick. The prices are good for thornton park, great lunch stop. That said, the sandwiches were just ok, the selection was what you except from a sandwich place. I did enjoy their complimentary pickles and their coleslaw was good with the orange in it. Overall, it was a good place, but not a top place in Orlando for me.
