Let me just begin to explain why this place is a 10/10. As soon as you enter the place, the owner/ chef greets you and welcomes you as if you were entering his house. The food was DELICIOUS and the presentation is to die for. That Puertorrican Chinese rice was so good. My husbands “chancletazo”plate was OMG! The steak was right on point. Now, let’s move on to the dessert. The carrot cake was amazing. The right amount of sugar combination with the cream cheese frosting. Let’s just say you MUST visit this place!!!

Exceptional service and the most delicious Puerto Rican food in the area. We found it searching the area while we drove down to our home in Ft. Lauderdale, and we couldn’t have been more happy. Thank you chef D and his wife. Our kids loved it and we will certainly come back again!

Wow. We were looking for a place to eat and came across this restaurant. We met the chef and owner Danny who was friendly and welcoming, everything is made to order so please have patience after you order, it is not a fast food restaurant. We had the shrimp and grits, power bowl, and a shrimp plantains dish with ground beef, rice and beans. We had the bread pudding which was heavenly. Cannot wait to be back!!!!

EXQUISITE FRESHNESS-This food was so extraordinarily good. I went with 12 friends and everyone was amazed with the exquisite food. I was delighted with the freshness of the products and the creative plating. Having vegan options was a super plus. I had a vegetarian “canoa” with “arroz mamposteao” (one of the best I have taste) and my husband had a red snaper with tostones de pana (which was caught in the morning). We ended the dinner with a selection of sweets. I had a delicious creamy vanilla flan and my husband had a coconut budín, which had a very creative combination of flavors.

Beyond Expectations……I had the greatest lunch at Jaztro with a bunch of friends. The menu selection was excellent. From fresh red snapper, to sweet plantains and pastelón all were perfect, “tostones de pana” and pasta as well. Everyone was pleased beyond expectations.The presentation of every single dish was extraordinary, the taste was amazing and the chef was so knowledgeable of the latin cuisine, better than at home.I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

Definitely one of the best Puertorrican restaurants I’ve ever been. Small but charming. The food was amazing and, compared to the typical puertorrican food, it was light and not as heavy and fatty. From the main entries to the sauces and natural juices, everything’s made fresh daily. The chef brought our food and greeted us with a warm welcome; explained how he made each of our dishes and made suggestions on what to eat next. Great food, service and experience!
