I’ve always loved Jerk Man BBQ — the food is full of flavor, and it used to be one of my favorite go-to spots. I primarily order delivery, and the first two times I ordered, the portions were generous and definitely worth the price, especially since the menu is on the higher side.
However, lately I’ve noticed a big change in the quantity of food. I’m not sure which location my orders come from now, but the portions have been much smaller than before. I even visited the new West Colonial location in person and ordered a large jerk fry, and the plate was noticeably empty compared to how it used to be.
I truly enjoy your food and want to keep supporting your business, but consistency is really important — especially for loyal customers who have been there from the start. I hope the team can address this and get back to the quality and portion sizes that made Jerk Man BBQ stand out in the first place. To add on at that new location, I can understand we all love our phones, but they all just on their phones and have a attitude the food take long and to my surprise for my plate to be empty absolutely not.
Before I even left this review, I tried two times to see if it was gonna change cause you know people slack off here and then, but I got the same type of service again.

I ain't never going back to the Ivey lane location. I called before I got there they said they had plenty of food. I freaking get there I waited an hour for my food. This was outrageous the girl cashier was mumbling I couldn't hear her over the kids and other customers in the restaurant. She need to learn to speak up and let people know before they pay that it will be a hour for there food. I could have went somewhere else. Then I get the food. The macaroni and cheese suckered. The fries terrible. The ribs average this time. The ribs taste better on West Colonial.

Food is good but I'm very disappointed in a catering order my wife made. Ordered 5 slabs of ribs and somehow they messed it up and she ended up spending over 400. I have no idea how that happened when THEY messed up the order. Granted she should've told them in not paying that but they scammed someone who just goes with the flow. Loved this place but now they have lost a customer for life.

The cashier was AMAZING — she promised me I wouldn’t regret a dime, and she was absolutely right! She even gave us a loyalty card with $10 off our first online order, which was such a nice surprise.
I’m a total rib lover, and the second I caught that smoky aroma, I couldn’t resist — made my hubby U-turn even though we really shouldn’t have splurged. And let me tell you… SO worth it! 🤤
The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the mac & cheese was a perfect 10/10. Comfort food heaven! Can’t wait to come back on payday to try more. 🥰
