Good Lord, this place is phenomenal! First and foremost, request to be seated in Alli's section. She is a fantastic server, knows her menu forward and backward, and has great rapport with her tables. Everything she recommended was spot on. When we asked about certain items, she was incredibly honest and never led us astray. We had the seafood tower, oysters on the half shell, broccoli au gratin, garlic mashed potatoes, crab cakes, filet mignon, crab claws, and trigger fish. The blueberry mojito was delicious. For dessert we indulged in piña colada cake and key lime pie. This was arguably the best meal I've had in a long time. Thank you Johnnie's Hideaway for a fantastic evening!

Johnnies is always a pleasure to visit when down in Orlando. We’ve been going for years and have always the best top notch service and meals. This place holds a special place in my heart and we absolutely adore it. The steaks are some of the best around amongst other food there. Thank you! And it’s convenient because it’s across the street from one of the entrances for Disney.

Without any exaggeration, our meal at Johnnie’s Hideaway was the best meal I’ve ever had. It’s not even close. With that said, it was also the priciest meal we’ve had, but worth every penny. The service was outstanding, and recommendations appreciated. Our server was excellent. This visit was October 2019, so unfortunately I cannot remember the exact bottle of wine we had, but it was fantastic. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was absolute perfection. I look forward to returning as soon as I am able as a Covid is over celebration.

UPDATE YOUR WEB PAGE. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THEN TAKING THE TIME TO DRIVE SOMEWHERE BECAUSE THE WEB PAGE SAYS YOU ARE OPEN AND YOU ARE NOT. SO SEEING YOU DIDN'T CARE ABOUT WASTING MY TIME THEN I WILL WRITE A WONDERFUL REVIEW FOR YOUR COMPETITION. WE WENT TO EAT AT "BIG FIN" AND IT WAS 10 STARS EASY. FIRST THERE WEBSITE SAID THEY WERE OPEN AND THEY WERE. THEIR SEAFOOD WAS COOKED PERFECTLY AND SO TASTY. THE STAFF WAS SO FRIENDLY AND I DON'T JUST MEAN MY SERVER, I MEAN EVERYONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DRIVING PAST JOHNNIES AND GOING TO BIG FIN.

Johnnie's used to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and among my favorite steak places in the US. Two more recent visits were total disasters that could have been quickly and easily resolved without much effort. Instead, management chose not to get actively involved and let the server and kitchen flounder. A simple fillet cooked medium rare was served to one guest as the rest of the table was finishing desert. Crazy.

This place is amazing. It was so good we went twice in one week. From service to food to wine to dessert. Nothing was disappointing. We had Tilapia fish w lump crab and Madagascar shrimp Carrot cake New York strip w portobello mushrooms On the second night we had Filet mignon Sautéed mushrooms Salmon Baked potato prepared at the table Service amazing both nights Definitely add the Madagascar shrimp to anything you order it’s well worth it. This is a definite dinner stop if you are visiting Orlando or any of there other locations.

This birthday celebration was planned a month ago and while the number of guests was greatly diminished because of the new health concerns, the quality of the meal exceeded our expectations! The escargot and the scallop appetizers were very good. The filet and strip steak were excellent. We also included Madagascar shrimp with one entree and a lobster tail with the other for surf-n-turf. If you’ve never tried Madagascar shrimp, and are at Johnnie’s when they are available, definitely give this crustacean a try! Service was very good and the desserts were a perfect end to a very good dinner. Busy roads to get here but definitely worth the time to visit.

First time enjoying Johnnie's Hideaway and they hit it out of the park. Lawren was exceptional and was attentive to our needs as well as being very friendly. So was every person that we interacted with. The food was amazing. From the lobster to the steak everyone enjoyed their meals. I look forward to my next trip to Orlando do that I can eat here again.

Fabulous place. Food and service superlative. One of the best places in the Orlando area. Steak is great but the seafood is also extremely well prepared and delicious. The house wines are well selected and delicious, there's also a good wine list to choose from. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Never disappoints! Been going to Johnnie's since the owner has his trailer in the lot! Best grilled oysters with garlic and parmesan, ever! (Watch out Rockefeller!) .. Our server, Lenny, was amazing! And management is on top of things so everything -- everything -- was perfect! We'll be back later in the month!!

Absolutely the best restaurant in the area. The food was amazing. You need to come hungry portions are big. I had the oysters and the escargot they are to die for... I have had the ny strip best in the area and the hushpuppys are definitely one of a kind and the best I have ever had. When the weather is good sit outside know the radio worth it.

We had a great meal as usual. “Tee” was our server. She was top notch and deserved the over tip every penny. The restaurant provided a “loyalty” menu which was great. Definitely will return soon.

I'm a fan of the Talk of the Town restaurants. This is a lovely place to dine. I took the wife there for her birthday. They did bring her a small cake with candles after the meal. I ordered the bone in ribeye. However, my steak came out with way to much salt on it. It was cooked the way I wanted just over salted. They cooked me another. When the manager brought it to the table he asked my to cut it to check if it was cooked properly. I said yes but let me taste it, yup, way to salty. He thought I was unhappy with the doneness. I may one day give them another try.
