Best burger in town. Probably the best Philly in town. The wings are on point. It’s all good. I grew up in this bar ,I worked for this bar ,and I probably staggered out of this bar lol. I love it here. Good people, good atmosphere.
Food was mediocre- manager was extremely rude to our large group. I’ve actually never had a more unprofessional experience at a restaurant in my life. Waitress was rude as well. Won’t ever spend another penny there!

For a place that's mostly focused on burgers and sandwiches the fish and chips is pretty good

We went to eat after a football game. We got it was steady. The the HS football team came in to celebrate for winning. Go Boone!! The server forgot about us. Never came back to check on us. We kept on saying excuse me hello waving our hands. But none of the servers acknowledged us. We had get up look for a server to get our receipt so we can pay. Never finished our food no refill on drinks l. Just horrible service. We were so... frustrated with the service. By the way they were not in weed (behind) people were getting there food. So there No reason for us waiting and never acknowledged us.

I like Johnny’s, but I’ve only been there twice for lunch. They are known for their burgers but have wings and other comfort food. This time I had an old fashioned and it was super. Recommend

Just to be fair, this was one of our favorite places when we lived on this side of town and used to go a cpl times month!!! So ... my son and I were excited to revisit and slam a Jumping jack chicken sandwich and some wings. Food and service has gone downhill... Waiter was kinda rude, trying to hurry us up and never came back to check on us. Lemon pepperwings were way over salted, borderline uneadible. My son's chicken filly was mediocre and bland. They nailed the tater tots but blacken chicken sandwich we took home for my wife was disgusting. The prices are still extremely fair but understanding ecomomics, Id say, raise your prices and get better quality ingredients. If you wanna keep it bar food, cheap and edible while hammered .. fair enough but this is more of warning for people not shit canned. Sadly, their food is not great anymore. Also don't sit under the big air vent by large screen TV, it will drip onto your table, really gross and bathroom smells like a sewer, bad vent stack???? My son literally gaged after I wanted him. I would have said all this in person to a manager and kept it on the DL, but no one ever asked how we were doing.
Overall, we were really bummed how far its fallen. Get it together, Johnny!!!

I hadn’t been to Johnny’s Other Side in a few years and man did I miss it. I went to meet up with some friends for a Teacher Appreciation Event which was hosted by Johnny’s and had a terrific turn out.
Johnny himself suggested the Conch Fritters which were absolutely fabulous. Large tasty and filled with delicious tender conch meat with a delicious remoulade sauce. What a great appetizer. Johnny stopped back by our table and tried one since he hadn’t even tried them himself- new menu item Approved!
We later split a pimento spread burger which was surprisingly good. I knew it would be good but man this one hit the taste buds in such a way I am drooling now thinking about that burger 🍔 Our server Mary was amazing and handled the crowd very nicely.

Our first time at Johnny’s was a reservation for our son’s baptism with friends and family. The food was delicious and our waitress was excellent!
However, I cannot give a 5 star rating due to our initial experience. The manager, with whom I coordinated the reservation, was rude from the moment we arrived.
We had never been to Johnny’s before, so we did not realize that the “inside restaurant” refers to Johnny’s Filling Station and the “outside restaurant” is Johnny’s Other Side. When I inquired for the reservation, I asked for Johnny’s Other Side, so I thought she meant Johnny’s Other Side had an inside and outside section, and when we arrived both buildings appeared to be “indoors”.
When we arrived, the manager said no reservations. I said “that can’t be right, we have a reservation for 11”. She then says, while serving other customers, “you’re at the inside restaurant at the filling station, I told you 7 times over email”, then turned and walked away. She did not mention such a thing, and our whole party was caught off guard by the inhospitality.

We moved in down the street a few months ago and have been here multiple times. The food, service, and overall vibe are incredibly good and consistent. We have enjoyed everything we’ve tried here and couldn’t recommend this spot more! A solid staple in the SODO community. Much love to Johnny’s and their entire team!!! :)
