We chose to come all the way downtown and pay $10 for parking just for this bar to be closed. It’s 9:30 on a Sunday. They are supposed to be open until 12:00am. I understand businesses can close at any time but there is no sign or posting about it anywhere. When talking to the restaurant next door, they said they that they’ve been doing this for awhile now and people continuously show up just for them to be closed. They were open Friday & Saturday but randomly close now. I tried to call 1-up bar but it’s impossible to even get through as their number is connected to all of their bars and not the specific location. If this is the case they should update their hours to save people the trip.

It was a great place. It had an incredible atmosphere, you could spend quality time, talk freely, and have fun with every topic. But it's nothing like what it once was. It's become just another commercial space, losing the essence that characterized it. I'm sorry such a great place has been lost in this way.

I did not see any food options when we visited. Maybe it’s been removed or is only available during a certain time. The arcade games are fun and keep you entertained at the bar for a while. The drinks were not expensive by downtown standards - ranging around $14. There is also plenty of photo spots around the bar. I found it well themed to make it more interesting than your average downtown bar. Fun time.

Went on a first date. Was expecting what I saw in pics. Nothing like it. My friend went right before covid and it's changed so much. The place was dead on a Friday night at 10pm. My date and I walked in, looked at each other, and walked out.

Once I entered 1-UP Orlando I was instantly transported to fun memories of pop-culture references with classic arcade cabinets, a hallway full of 70s through 2000s Album covers and Soundwave the Decepticon DJ.
The atmosphere is fun to explore with walls and levels full of nostalgia. A wall mural of a giant sized Skeletor and a pop out Caslte Grayskull. 1-UP Orlando even has a Turtle Van food area and a Barbje lounge.
The bar is full of plenty of seating with retro vibes of TVs long gone with Max Headroom flashing on the screen. The pizza was good with friendly bar tenders and drinks that are picture worthy. If you need a place to go in Orlando to relax in a fun environment 1-UP Orlando is the place to go.

Really cool place, great for photo opportunities as well as a awesome arcade bar. A lot of really cool nerdy themed drinks too. I've only been once back in June and I got there early which was really cool having the place basically empty. I am looking forward to going back during an event.
