Still dumbstruck by how uninspiring the meal was. Started with cocktails and one of our cocktails had a small blue thread (2cm x 8cm) that resembled the rags used for cleaning the tables. Drink was replaced but not comped.
Apps: miso soup and booki salad were okay
Rolls: Tom Yum, Ghost, Hawaii were all bland - no flavors stood out on any of them. Even as writing I couldn’t even tell you the fish in the rolls.
Service: our plates were taken away and we were asked about dessert while my partner was still chewing her last bites. Our reservation was at 8:15, it’s not like they had people waiting for tables.
The lighting in the restaurant was well done and that’s the highlight of our trip there.

The food is great but because they have so many dishes that most people are not familiar with and have Japanese names, the restaurant should have the wait staff explain the menu or at least ask if the customer would like a run though of the menu. The staff were very nice if maybe a little inexperienced and did explain some of the more obscure dishes when asked. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 rather than 5 stars is for how dark the place is. I could not read the small print on the menu without my phone flashlight. Otherwise, the atmosphere is relaxed but upscale with a modern, clean aesthetic.

Everything was top notch, so delicious. I've been there for date night, girls night and takeout - nothing disappoints. I can't even look at other sushi places the same way.

Kabooki Sushi is hands down the best sushi spot in Orlando, in my opinion. Located on E. Colonial Dr. and Maguire Blvd., this place delivers a full sensory experience from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is trendy, modern, and undeniably sexy. They recently renovated and added a sleek bar/lounge area off to the side of the main dining room, which adds to the vibe.
I highly recommend making a reservation, as they’re always busy, but honestly, I’m just as happy sitting at the bar and watching the chefs work their magic, it’s like dinner and a show. Every dish we’ve ever ordered here has been superb, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
On our last visit, we enjoyed the Zen, Hawaii X.O., Chill, Yucca Fritters, Coconut Udon Truffle, and Money Bags; each one absolutely delightful and bursting with flavor. For dessert, we treated ourselves to the Ube Cheesecake and Carrot Cake, both made in-house and on another level entirely. I would honestly come back just for dessert alone. To pair with it all, we ordered the Bee My Honey cocktail, so delicious, crafted with lavender-infused honey and elderflower liqueur, perfectly balanced and refreshing.
We’ve brought friends and family here many times, and every single person has left raving about the food, the ambiance, and the impeccable service. The entire staff, from the host stand to the servers, goes above and beyond to make the experience special.
If you’re looking for a place that’s elegant, romantic, and unforgettable, Kabooki Sushi is it. 100% recommend for anyone who loves sushi and stellar service.

The fish here was fresh and overall the sushi tasted good, but a few things really missed the mark for us. We ordered Toro, but what was served definitely wasn’t Toro. I know my Toro, and this lacked the rich, buttery texture and flavor it should have. The foie gras was also disappointing, it was dry, chewy and more like foie gras jerky than anything. Portions were quite small for the price, and we left not feeling full or satisfied. Not a terrible visit, but for the cost, I expected better authenticity, portion sizes, and overall experience

I went for dinner and it was really. We ordered the double tekka and the akami unagi roll. The Akami was my favorite because the eel was really good. We tried the yellowfin tasting, a bowl with rice and pork belly and mushrooms, and a wagu tasting with the hot stone. Our server was Rylan and he was so amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so funny and charming. Loved this place 10/10.

Smallest and oddly shaped sashimi I've ever had. The fish tasted good. Not worth the price. The service was fine, I guess.

I was in town visiting and a friend brought me here. He pre-ordered the peking duck and we had a lot of various items off the menu. The sushi items were so fresh and flavorful. The duck was juicy and the baos were fluffy. Everything was delicious! Was so good I went to the other location later in the same week!

This place is an absolute gem for a special night out. The ambiance is incredibly chic and has a wonderfully alluring vibe, making it perfect for a romantic date. We were so impressed with the unique sushi creations they offered, going beyond the usual. Beyond the sushi, their broader Asian cuisine selections were equally delightful and thoughtfully prepared. The service truly elevated our entire experience; it was exceptionally attentive and graceful throughout the evening. Every dish we tried was a delicious adventure, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative combinations. It's definitely a spot we'll be returning to for another memorable evening. If you're looking for an elegant and sophisticated dining experience, this is highly recommended.

I went for magical dining. I don't get the hype. The food was mid and over-priced. There is better sushi for cheaper in Orlando. They didn't seat on time with my reservation and service was kind of slow and inattentive.

Love this place! Yes, it’s a little on the pricier side, but the quality and freshness of the food make it totally worth it. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

I wish there was a way to rate Kabooki more than 5 stars because there is nowhere better! Staff is attentive and professional, and food is ridiculously good and always creative. Fun for a date night, family night, or girls night! Thank you Kabooki for giving the best dining experience since the first time we came to eat there in 2013!

I discovered this restaurant through Resy, and I have to say—it’s worth the hour-long drive! The sushi is incredibly fresh, and as someone who’s more of a meat lover, the wagyu was cooked to absolute perfection. I went with my toddler, and the staff was very accommodating, providing a high chair and making sure we were comfortable.
But the real showstopper? The Ube cheesecake. Wow—hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I’d drive an hour just for that alone! Next time, I might have to ask for the whole cheesecake instead of just a slice.
