I am back after a few years. The food is still delicious, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Our server, Kimo, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
He is full of energy, explained the dishes, gave us suggestions and was very attentive.
My favorite from his suggestions, Maguro Truffle, Sticky Ribs, Hawaii XO Roll and the Double Tekka Roll. For dessert we had the Ube Cheese Cake. Sweet, smooth, perfect to share with two. Yes! I would order it all again.
The ambiance, 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The decor is cheeky/romantic with dim lights. But noise level was pretty high. It’s ok if you are sitting right next to each other. I can hear larger parties speaking louder to be able to carry a conversation.
Restroom situation, 2 ⭐️ ⭐️
There is 1 bathroom for females and 1 bathroom for males. I didn’t really noticed it until the line came out of the bathroom area and people were standing near our table. When I needed to use it, wow, I was next in line but it took forever. Something to consider upgrading or maybe make them unisex so both stalls can be used.
The restaurant added a lounge next door. It has its own door or you can access through the restaurant. It also has its own cocktail menu that you can order from while dining.
These are suggestions for improvement but not important enough to stop me from coming back.

How dare Kobooki Sushi's Valet park customer cars on sidewalks that BLOCK access for those of us in Wheelchairs ! where are we suppose to go? Play Frogger in the street to roll past ! SHAMEFUL ! !

All the delicious food in the world can't compensate for a business that knowingly allows their valet service to illegally park cars on a public sidewalk. Yes, I saw the photo of a man in a wheelchair unable to use the public sidewalk in front of Kabuki because the valet had deliberately parked a customer's luxury SUV on it.

The parking is a nightmare - it is so full that the company parks vehicles on the sidewalk at times. Even if it means blocking pedestrian traffic (really bad and dangerous for wheel chair users!).

Don’t allow your valet to park cars on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Oh and don’t charge money for a handicapped person to park in a Handicap spot.

For some wild reason this restaurant allows their customers to park on the side walk. There are photos online of a wheelchair user being blocked from using the public sidewalk. The food is great but can they be more considerate of the general public.

I often drive past this establishment, these people are selfish and ableist - they hire valet parking services to illegally BLOCK the sidewalk and handicap spots. I literally saw a man in a wheelchair stuck behind a luxury vehicle parked on the SIDEWALK. Absolutely abhorrent, and they've been reported to code enforcement.

Illegally parking cars on the sidewalk and blocking disabled people from being able to move freely is a great look guys

We had a great dinner at Kabuki on East Colonial this week with my fiancé and his family. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast without being rushed. We especially loved the yellowtail appetizer, the ribs (perfectly tender and flavorful), and the ube cheesecake, which was a standout dessert—creamy, not overly sweet, and beautifully presented.

The ambiance was stylish and modern with a fun energy—though it did get a little loud at times, it didn’t take away from the experience. Definitely a place we’d come back to for a solid sushi night or special occasion!
