Excellent omakase experience! Everyone was so friendly and at least 5 people checked in us during our meal to make sure everything was perfect. Our chef was so friendly and inviting and really made the dinner an outstanding experience. Each dish was expertly crafted and beautiful not only to look at but also to taste. I plan on returning anytime I visit Orlando.

Best sushi restaurant in the Orlando!! Service is amazing but the food is another level!

The restaurant is hidden inside a plaza but the inside has the full Japanese experience. We didn't do the Omakase but the sushi and nigiri we ordered were fresh and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommended for special occasions or if you are just looking for good quality sushi

TL;DR: Sub-par/mediocre food. Expensive prices. Good serviceCame here due to the high reviews and recommendations, and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed/having buyers remorse (which is rare for us). The inside was very nicely decorated and modern. Service was very nice and attentive. FOOD: ~Tuna Flight (2.5/5): came with tuna, chutoro, and otoro. The cuts are smaller than average, and the flavor was okay. The temperature of the fish was a little off for me~Maguro Truffle (2.5/5): Could not taste the tuna nor the truffle. The crispy bits on the outside were good but overpowering~Ebi gyoza (3/5): not sure why I expected these to be steamed, but they were fried, but the wrapper was too thick and chewy. The filling was good, but under seasoned. Came with a mojo sauce under which I found confusing~Wagyu Flight (3/5): Can't go wrong with Wagyu. VERY small portion for price. Came with A3, A4, and A5 wagyu that you cook on a hot stone~Sashimi Moriawase (3/5): Came with some unique fish. The cuts were weird, and you get 10 pieces of fish for $60. Some of the sauce tops were not good~Ghost Roll (3/5): While the sauce topped with is was tasty, that was all you could taste. Could not taste the eel or salmon~Hokkaido Roll (1.5/5): the MOST disappointing item. The scallops tasted like literally nothing.~Sticky Ribs (2.5/5): this came out last after all our sushi, so timing wasn't great. The ribs were somehow soft but dry at the same time. The sauce was VERY hoisin forward. Couldn't taste any chiliOverall, this place was far too expensive for the quality of their food. Has good atmosphere and service, but the food was lacking.

Kabooki was such an experience to go to! Honestly never knew they had a location on Sandlake, so I had to go check it out! This place is so aesthetically pleasing; dim lit, cute modern chairs/seating areas, and overall just a vibe. I started the night with the waygu tasting, which I didn't know I'd be cooking it myself at the table. Each piece of meat on the waygu tasting was delicious, so delicate, and felt like it melted in my mouth with each chew. For sushi I got the tom yum and wow what a refreshing mix of flavors; would definitely get this again. Our server was so nice and made great recommendations for it being our first visit. Definitely willing to come back; maybe even check out their other location in the process!

This has been on my list for quite sometime and I finally was able to make it out here for their amazing options and vibes. Really loved the interior design with the winter feels and especially the alcohol stand in the front. Stood out so much and the setting just made it feel like a nice speakeasy place. Service was great and they were able to accommodate us fairly quick, but even nice enough to add the additional friend last minute. Great spot for some light drinks , sushi , and great meat options. We personally ordered the Tom Yum sushi which consisted of avocado, shrimp, garlic and I think some tempura. We were suggest and recommended by our waitress so we gave it a try and it was delicious. We also ordered the Wagyu Tasting which came with A3 and A5 beef. It even came with a hot stone for us to cook ourselves for about 10-15 seconds on each side. I do feel that there is so much more to try here and we would definitely need to make our rounds back here for more of their amazing options.

Such an intimate little restaurant that really appeals to the not as adventurous eater (my husband) as well as the incredibly adventurous (me). He got the sticky ribs and they were out of this world. Never enjoyed ribs that much. And I had the tasting where the chef makes up what they have fresh and is unique. It was an amazing experience and our server was incredible. I asked that she wrote down the fish I had and she did. No question asked and was so sweet. We were celebrating our anniversary and they put a little table sign that said happy anniversary and we got a dessert on the house. The atmosphere was so romantic and intimate, great music and wonderful drinks. We'll be back!

The food was good. Equivalent to any other good sushi place I have been to, but none of those are as expensive.I was never asked if I wanted a second drink. That was unfortunate. It was so noisy we had to yell at each other at our table to be heard.

Really not worth the time, rather get sushi at Publix after this experience. I get what this place is trying to be but feels like all of the attention was put in the wrong place. Waiting service is some of the worst I've ever received in Orlando, everyone was rude and unwilling to go over basic questions my wife and I had.
