haven’t been to a Haitian restaurant in a while—especially in Florida! No shade to my Florida folks, but customer service can be a little questionable sometimes 😅. Kalalou really impressed me though! The hospitality was amazing, the vibes were great, and the food was top tier. As a Haitian, I know how hit-or-miss our spots can be, but this one delivered authentic flavor, great customer service, and even play some classic hits! ChatGPT referred it btw 😩🙂! We had a really good time!

Not a fan of leaving a negative review, but, we wanted to try this place. After being seated for almost 40 minutes, we were never given menus. The only thing brought to our table was lemon water, which we didn’t ask for, and that didn’t arrive until about 25 minutes after we were seated. Since we were never able to order or even see a menu, we can’t comment on the food. After nearly an hour with no real service, we decided to leave. Very disappointing experience.

I came here for dinner and was grossly overcharged for my meal. I would like someone from management to reach out to me. I had fried goat, green, plantain, and a side of broccolini, and a gin and tonic mixed drink. Before tip this all was a total of $70. I thought the bill was kind of high when I paid and I was not given an itemized receipt. It was late and I was tired, so I didn’t dispute it, and I should have and not have been so trusting. When I look online, the goat itself is not even $45 on the dine in menu. Not to mention my gin and tonic was made incorrectly because there was no tonic, yet it was rang up as a cocktail. A gin and tonic is not a cocktail. Also, I did not even get the two sides included with the goat, the broccolini was a substitute either way $70 before tip and tax is too high for what I had between the service and the food.

They have a crab cake with a season roast corn like nothing I’ve ever had. Craving conch soup they got it. Don’t sleep on their Caesar salads I thought it was just another salad but that homemade Caesar just kept me wanting more. Atmosphe was classy. The Brazilian stew was by far my favorite. The desert just allow yourself to be surprised because it was like nothing I’ve ever had rum cake with roasted pineapple not too sweet do different then any rum cake 🍰 you just want to eat it in slow motion because you know no one else can match it. Overall the place was un matched.

Mario Peters and Marvin held an incredible evening for our office Christmas party. The food was amazing and perfect. We had an incredible time at the event and it wouldn’t be possible without them and their amazing team. I have absolutely no complaints and this is a great place to host a party and spend time with family. The attention detail and atmosphere was amazing. I truly wished I took more photos. Everyone should eat here it’s an incredible experience.

The place is very beautiful and it's probably the classiest restaurant in Orlando. The food is not that good, I am sorry. I tried 3 different times, and trust me when I say this, it's not worth it

Chef/Owner is lovely, place is nicely decorated but there were limited food choices compared to regular Kalalou, and service is inconsistent. 🎵 Place turned into a club and music got too loud too soon. Not an upscale dining experience.

This is absolutely the best dining experience I’ve had. The attention to detail, this is Haitian Haute Cuisine. The level of service, the food, the experience. The Chef came out to greet us. In all my years of eating at Haitian restaurants I’ve never experienced service like this. I strongly recommend. Chef Mario well done.
