About Katsura Grill

Katsura Grill at Epcot offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including flavorful Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken/Shrimp Teriyaki. The ramen features chewy noodles and a porky broth. While some dishes may lack in meat quantity for the price, the food is generally well-cooked. The sushi and shrimp teriyaki have received mixed reviews, with some finding the shrimp fishy. Despite the portion sizes being a bit small, the dining experience is pleasant, and the staff is friendly.

The restaurant is located in a secluded area of the Japan pavilion, surrounded by a bonsai garden and water features. Guests can choose between indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area providing a relaxing atmosphere under the bamboo forest. The menu, though relatively narrow, offers a selection of simple yet tasty teriyaki, rice dishes, and options like bento boxes, ramen, and gyoza. It is considered a nice Japanese fast casual restaurant in the park, providing a quick and satisfying meal.

Being up on a hill and a little hidden, Katsura Grill is usually less busy and is one of the better Asian quick service places. Visitors often enjoy the Curry Tonkatsu or the Tonkatsu Pork Ramen, and many always get a green tea, which is one of the few places to find decent tea in the park. The food is made with care and precision, capturing the authentic taste of Japan. Many guests find it so enjoyable that they come back multiple times, especially when craving a comforting Katsu curry or other signature dishes. Overall, Katsura Grill offers a healthy and authentic Japanese dining option with friendly service and a charming ambiance.

Katsura Grill is a solid option for a quick bite at EPCOT. The food is good, and the katsu was the highlight for me (was way better). The portions are filling and satisfying, making it an easy choice for a casual meal while exploring the Japan Pavilion. It’s also a nice spot to sit down, relax and take a short break from the park crowds.
Fast service and delicious food. I got the beef udon. It was impeccable.
If you’ve ever wondered what real Japanese teriyaki tastes like — not the overly sweet American version drowning in sauce — then grab your imaginary passport and strut over to Japan Pavilion at Epcot and make your grand entrance at Katsura Grill.
The chicken and beef teriyaki are surprisingly close to what you’d find from a Tokyo street vendor: simple, savory, and balanced without that sugar overload. The pork ramen comes in with a refreshing broth that...read full review
