Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream

The ice cream and service at every Kelly's is basically standardized. You know what you're getting when you approach that counter. What's always different, though, is what each location has to offer you on the outside.

I haven't been to too too many Kelly's, but this one was the nicest, I think. Outside was a whole fenced in playground area with soft, fake mulch, nice little park benches, some games like giant Connect 4, and dainty little fairy lights that probably look very nice at night when they're turned on .

The flavors they had this time were exquisite, which I know has nothing to do with the location. But it certainly helped this trip be very, very good.

Absolutely LOVE their ice creams.

Such a great neighborhood spot! The Ferncreek location has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the staff is always friendly and patient. The ice cream is incredibly fresh and flavorful — you can really taste the quality. I tried several flavors before deciding because everything was so good. I went with the chocolate chip mint, and my son picked the birthday cake — both were excellent. It’s the perfect place to stop by for a treat and enjoy the area. Next time, I’ll definitely be getting a coffee too.

I go here darn near every day. Great ice cream and people are always welcoming.

Yummy always! No pictures, but the Salted Caramel Cookies and Cream was delicious and a good pairing with the Chocolate and Peanut Butter scoop!
