Subject: Complaint Regarding Manager Conduct and Food Quality – KFC 6217 International Dr, Orlando FL
I’m writing to report a very disappointing experience I had today at the KFC located at 6217 International Dr in Orlando, FL.
I placed a mobile order online under the name Ashley and pulled into the drive-thru to pick it up. When I reached the speaker, the person who answered identified herself as the manager, Doris. I informed her that I was picking up a mobile order, and before I could even finish explaining, she abruptly stated that “all pickup orders are inside” and cut off the conversation.
I attempted to clarify that it was a mobile order placed through the app and that I was simply there to pick it up. Instead of listening, she continued repeating that pickup orders were inside and ended the interaction.
When I pulled up to the window to try to explain in person, the interaction unfortunately became even more dismissive. I calmly asked whether my order would be brought out to me if I parked while it was being prepared, but instead of answering the question, the manager repeatedly stated that the order was not ready and again insisted pickup orders were inside.
At one point I even tried to de-escalate the situation by mentioning that I am also a manager and understand that the job can be stressful, and that all I was asking for was clear communication and basic respect. Despite that, the attitude continued and I was told to move forward without any clear information about how I was supposed to receive the order.
Because of how the situation was being handled, I became concerned about the status of my order and went inside the restaurant to check the pickup area myself. As I approached the pickup counter, staff quickly reacted by telling me that the orders there were not mine, despite previously telling me that pickup orders had to be retrieved inside.
When I finally received the order, the food quality was extremely disappointing. The fries were clearly from the very bottom of a batch — hard, stale, and barely edible. The rest of the food was cold as well, which only added to the frustration after the entire interaction and wait.
What concerns me most about this situation is that the behavior came from the manager on duty. Management sets the tone for the entire team, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and courtesy displayed during this interaction made for a very poor customer experience.
I understand that food service environments can be busy and stressful, but dismissing customers, refusing to communicate clearly, and serving low-quality food after a negative interaction is unacceptable—especially from management.
I hope this issue can be reviewed and addressed so that future customers do not have the same experience.

As someone from the UK, the food hear is horrid. Not a scratch on the UK menu. Chicken was dry and bland, with zero flavour.
If I was at home my dog would have had loads to eat.
I did however like the mash and gravy.

They took a long time to serve us, the place was dirty, the employees were doing everything but serving us, the fries were reheated, the sink was very dirty, the place closed at 12 instead of 1 as advertised, and the floor was so dirty your feet stuck to it.

Two days ago, I ordered fried chicken at this restaurant. After eating it, I developed severe diarrhea and a fever. I believe the oil used to fry the chicken was unclean, or the chicken itself was contaminated, because it tasted strange when I ate it. However, the staff still sold it to me.

I'm coming at this as a UK person. Man the KFC there is bad. This was crazy good. All of it was awesome. And the staff seem nice :)

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I went into the restaurant and ordered takeout. When they handed me my order, they didn’t give me my cup, so I assumed I could grab one myself. The young woman inside then spoke to me in a very rude tone, asking what size my drink was. Honestly, I didn’t know what size it was, and I also didn’t know what size cup I had picked up. She told me I wasn’t allowed to take it without asking first.
BUT I also believe that if I place an order, you should read the order and give me my cup without me having to ask for it.

If I could give no stars, I would. We went in the night of the 23rd. Julia was the manager and she had racial remarks against white people our whole experience. Very rude. Just terrible. A manager should not be acting like that! They also were not wearing gloves while handling the food. I will be filing a complaint with corporate.

Who in the world rents out a KFC for a birthday party ? Lmao be fr and when I walked in dude acted like he rented out a steakhouse or something omg lol
We arrived one hour before closing time and they refused to serve us chicken, claiming they didn't have any. One of the employees told us it was disrespectful to refuse us food just because we were the first customers.
