Definitely for people that have never been to or had authentic New Orleans cuisine. The establishment was completely empty, which should have been my first clue. However, we were greeted warmly by the server Karen, which was the only reason I did not give this place just 1 star. My husband and I ordered the Gumbo, a New Orleans signature dish. What came out can only be described as vegetable water. There was absolutely no taste or seasoning what so ever. The added okra and celery were crunchy and tasteless. The shrimp that topped the dish tasted as if they had been recently been dethawed under a kitchen faucet. After 3 spoonfuls, I knew that I would not be able to finish this dish. My husband tried valiantly tried to doctor his up to no avail. Anyone can open a seafood place and become successful, but if you are going to hang the marker that says that you serve New Orleans food; I would love the place to know what New Orleans food tastes like. Keep up the good work Karen.

Best food hands down! I highly recommend the Shabang sauce! The Tonito was PHENOMENAL!

Reading reviews.. looks like Russian Roulette. We were on the plus side though. Service was slow. Food to large party ahead of was slow coming from kitchen looked slow.BUT .... our food was served hot, very tasty, well seasoned, and we were sopping up the special sauces with the onion rings and hush puppies.Ate the left overs today for lunch, and the soup was intact (not too much grease and oil) and battered fish was also good. No signs of over oiling. You pay your money and take your chances. It was worth it for us to have authentic scratch cooked meals. Very very good and tasty.

My experience here was absolutely horrible. My family and I (about 12 of us) are in town for vacation and decided to come to this restaurant being that it was right next to our Hotel. The staff was very nice and Welcoming and sat us down right away. We ordered our meal and waited and waited and finally after about 40 mins two of the meals arrived. The presentation of the food was absolutely ridiculous everything was fried so hard and had no taste to it (nothing was seasoned). I ordered a Shrimp Po’Boy sandwhich and Jambalaya that never arrived which was unacceptable. Many of the items were overpriced for what was ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Orlando I-Drive and I hope this location will take the time to actually provide edible food for their customers!

Oh my goodness delicious! We were a party of 15 and they were extremely welcoming. Karen was superb and went above and beyond getting us settled, even as she was leaving her shift. Stellar customer service. The portions and prices were extremely plentiful and the flavor was DELICIOUS. We ordered the King Feast and added one pound of green mussels and it was excellent and shareable for two. Definitely recommend getting the Shabang flavor with medium spice. We will have to come back!

Visiting from ATL... wanted seafood that was good and tasty.. this definitely hit the spot! Originally from the gulf coast, I'm very selective of my seafood away from home. I ordered crawfish boil spicy and fried oyster w fried talipia, corn and coleslaw... it didn't disappoint, everything fried was fresh, not oily. I would definitely come back, service was great... clean atmosphere and restroom.

I had the mussels, crawfish, and potatoes and it was SO GOOD!!!! The sauce was super flavorful and spicy, just how I like it! Everyone working there was super nice and the wait time for our food was not long at all. Definitely will come back next time I’m in the area.

Good spot, I really enjoyed the Cajun sauce xxx hot with my crawfish. Very flavorful and spicy sauce!! Service was really good. Crawfish itself wasn't anything crazy but still good. I've only had amazing 11/10 crawfish before this, so maybe I'm just spoiled. I would definitely go again!!

My wife and I went here on a whim while staying at a hotel within walking distance. We were hit with a little sticker shock when we first sat down, but after looking at the menu we decided to get two “crawfish for one” meals and let me tell you, the flavor and portion sizes were great. We got the Ragin’ Cajun flavor with medium and hot heat. I can handle a decent amount of heat and the hot was very hot. It was awesome. Staff was also friendly. We were both very satisfied. Definitely will be back!Edit: We went back and ordered the exact same thing we ordered before, however the spice levels were not consistent with the first time. My wife thought hers had a lot more garlic in it giving it a different flavor. It was incredibly busy this time so it could have possibly been a mistake or miscommunication. Flavor was great, and the service was fantastic again! A little consistency with the heat would help in the future though lol

Definitely the worst fried catfish, shrimp and hush puppies I have ever had. The shrimp were like chewing rubber bands, the hush puppies were hard on the outside and dry on the inside. The coleslaw was about the best thing on my plate and that was just average at best. The mild Shebang sauce was watery and tasteless. At least my Coke was cold and had bubbles. Bad, bad, BAD!!!!!

I picked up an order to go and it was piping hot still when I got home. I ordered a mix of all spices for my snow crab, shrimp, potato, and corn along with a side order of French bread and some beignets. Next time I will order “medium” spice level instead of mild because I do want a little bit of heat. The flavor was excellent, the portion was enormous, everything was cooked perfectly, and I will definitely be back! The restaurant was packed inside when I picked up my food and it smelled AMAZING. All the diners I saw looked really happy.

I’ve had seafood from all over the US and this place was by far the worst. I threw away half the food and just got mcdonalds togo.We got various seafoods including shrimp and everything tasted bad~subpar. To make matters worse they didnt put our food in a bag but a togo box so all the liquid had spilled. This box we got was $55. It just looks like they threw cooked (not seasoned) ingredients in there and poured some juice in.I would order it if it was $10 and then still throw away half of it.It just was not worth the money nor the 40min wait. Please go somewhere else…

In my search for a new seafood restaurant I came across King Cajun Crawfish. First of all the prices are reasonable for the fresh seafood that they offer. Second of all the food was delicious!!! Tina put down in the kitchen! The lemon pepper sauce is authentic, I've never had a taste like that before. I was delightfully satisfied (low key I drink the sauce with a spoon?) ijs it was delicious!! Jessica was a wonderful and delightful Hostess with the mosttest? Charles I can't wait for Happy Hour! I'll make the 39 minute trip anytime! Can't wait to taste the food again! If you're a local resident let's show them some❤️ if you're a tourist you'll come back to Orlando just for King Cajun Crawfish!!
