Would recommend eating somewhere else in the park. Chicken sandwich was cold and the curry dish was bland (even taking into account it was a water park eatery)

Stood for 75 minutes in a queue to get a gross overpriced mushy vegetable burger that came on a soggy bun. Eat before you come!!!!!

My husband & I ordered a cheese pizza & the lava cake from here as this cake came highly recommended. Both items unfortunately hit the mark for us. The quality of food here is not great; we would recommend walking over to Bambu instead for their bowls.

really surprised to see such a low rating here. in my opinion this place is one of the best in the universal parks. food was delicious, service is fast and stuff was amazing to us. maybe a bit of a line and it’s a little expensive, but we are already in universal where everything is expensive. i really enjoyed my lava sandwich with icee. the view is pretty too

Shocked to see the reviews so low?

Is this fine dining? No… you’re in a freaking water park! Is it much better than your standard theme park counter service? Yes. Is it the best food I’ve had in a water park? Absolutely!

I did some research ahead, and was told that the curry bowl with chicken was hands down the way to go, and I was not disappointed. We also had the Huli Huli chicken sandwich, and it was quite good as well. Good portions, good flavor, hot and satisfying.

Pro tip - get your food here and then walk down the path to the Dragon Bar to get a cocktail, eat there, and enjoy the beautiful view.

I actually think the Kohola burger is good, but don't expect something spectacular because it's a water park.

We definitely do not recommend eating here. At $16.99, the Ropa Vieja Bowl is poor value; the plantain chips were hard and tasteless, and the bowl was bland. While the burger was okay, the service was slow and NOT friendly.
It is simply not worth the high price tag and slow/unfriendly service. Next time, we will pack our own sandwiches or leave the park for a meal!

We're not finished with our Universal visit but I had to get on here and leave a review for the ribs at Kohola Reef. Horrible! Don't waste your money. My son got them and hated them and said he couldn't eat them. Figured I would switch my pizza for his ribs as we already spent $62 for the 3 of us, but I'm not eating whatever this is. It doesn't taste like ribs and the texture is weird. Very dry. Don't waste your money. Only thing we're eating from that meal is the fries and coleslaw. The pepperoni pizza is what you'd expect for theme park food, but surprisingly good. Husband said Hawaiian pizza is edible but wouldn't order it again. $62 for the 3 food items in pictures and 2 fountain drinks.

The food was a good sized portion for the price, and taste good, but the only thing is when you did receive your food, it was cold, unfortunately.

The lines to get the food were insane and we did Mobile order to boot.

The Freestyle machines were out of Ice, and the lines for them were line I4 traffic. It was really noisy in that area.

There was plenty of seating, as long as you went to the back area, which was nice, because it was a bit more quite in that area.

The ambiance is nice, because you obviously feel like you're in Hawaii under a HUGE hut, which is cool, because you can eat, outside, even if it's raining.

The tables and floors need to be cleaned up more often. I didn't see anyone taking care of those things.
