I found Kres while searching for romantic restaurants in Orlando and was so excited to see they offer a fully vegan menu! As someone who’s been vegan for 8 years, I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed — but I was completely amazed.
I ordered the Vegan Beef Wellington, and it was out of this world — probably the best vegan dish I’ve ever had. My 3-course menu started with a vegan escargot-style mushroom appetizer, then the Wellington, and for dessert my boyfriend and I shared a brookie, which was absolutely divine. He didn’t even want to try it at first and now he can’t stop talking about it! 😄
The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was just perfect — beautiful space, great music, romantic atmosphere. My boyfriend had a chicken pasta and loved it too (he said the pasta was perfect and the chicken could’ve been a bit better, but overall he really enjoyed it).
I was also so impressed that they clearly label their vegan wines — that’s such a rare and thoughtful touch.
I can’t wait to go back. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team for creating such an amazing experience. This restaurant is now one of my favorites in Orlando. 💛
Food here is amazing! We had the Old-Fashioned and the S’mores Old-Fashioned — both were delicious and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we ordered the ribeye, asparagus, and parmesan mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The ribeye, especially, was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The crème brûlée was also excellent, creamy, rich, and with the perfect caramelized top.
Our waiter, Robert, made the experience even better! He was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Kres is great for meeting differing dietary restrictions in a group of diners. Service & Hospitality is dying, but not here. Host was welcoming with a smile upon our entrance. Very attentive service and even provided personality in our dining experience. The chef even came out to see how we were enjoying our meal. Top notch! If you are in the Orlando area, Kres is not to be missed. Make a reservation or the bar area is FCFS. Door person opened the door for us upon our exit. Great experience beginning to end!
Dress code is enforced. Look presentable and not like you just came from the gym or the beach and you should be ok. No hats. Parking is hit or miss and may need to use a garage.

10/01/2025: Visit Kres whenever in Orlando. Made it to Kres 30 min before closing, most premier restaurants close much earlier than 11:30 pm. Kres always top tier!!! Steak was cooked to perfection!!! Kudos to the cook yesterday evening!!!

I visited Kres on 9/30/25. When I tried to order, staff refused service because — according to them — “the numbers didn’t match my birthday” on my ID. I asked if that was required by law and they could not point to a legal requirement. I was embarrassed and left without being served. If you plan to dine here, be prepared for strict ID checks; I wish staff had explained their policy more clearly or offered to call a manager. — factual experience; I encourage the restaurant to train staff on how to handle ID questions politely get up to date on new laws forming.
