Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

We drove 2+ hours from Jacksonville to come here and the food was great, but the problem is the service is TERRIBLE.
They have this robot that drives around with the drinks, which is cute, but if there is a ton of people in the restaurant you just never get drinks. We didn’t get our drinks till 15 minutes into us eating. Then we needed refills which you have to reorder on the computer screen and the robot just NEVER came back. They are so dependent on this ONE single robot to deliver drinks that it literally takes forever. We left without even waiting for drinks. $120 meal and you can’t get refills. That’s crazy.

Overall great food and the server Rosanna was amazing, she was very attentive to what we needed and checked up on us often to make sure we had everything we wanted.

Our first time here but won't be our last. After checking-in it was a little confusing how they were seating folks. Once we got that all straightened out and were seated it was great. First timers get a little video that explains how the conveyor and ordering works. Your drinks will be delivered by a robot, but, oddly, refills are not. You take what you want from the conveyor or order something that'll come directly to you on a separate conveyor. All the plates are the same price. Honestly, it's rather affordable. I thought the sushi was very tasty and fresh tasting. We all loved it and enjoyed it.
My only confusion was tipping. How do you handle tipping when the food/drinks are all delivered by machines? I just tipped my customary 20% and hoped the sushi chefs and server gets it.

Hello, I went here two weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by their selection. As a pescatarian who doesn’t eat raw fish, I was a little nervous about trying out a conveyor belt sushi place. This place, however, had a lot of options to choose from. The options include, edamame, cooked shrimp, smoked salmon rolls, watermelon, shrimp and avocado rolls, and so much more to choose from. I got several of the things I’ve listed and a fish shaped dessert which I don’t remember the name of. My friend and I also ordered using the touch pad and got our stuff through the conveyor belt on top. Overall, everything was delicious! 5 stars!

Service was good, atmosphere was good. I gave a 1 star food review because in the entire hour and a half that we were there before closing, there was no new sushi in the revolving sushi bar. We were forced to order through the little tablet on top of the table.

Overall, we had a great time and it was a lot of fun. Some of the food did seem to be sitting a while and I would have loved to see a little bit more cleanliness at the booths but overall highly recommend stopping by here for a fun sushi experience.

Always a fun time. We really like the conveyor belt. The beef umami sushi is our #1. Sometimes the belt gets kind of empty for awhile. But for the most part, it's pretty consistent. I have noticed smaller cuts on the sushi selection. For two of us is easily $100.00.

Conveyor belt sushi is an experience that's hard to find outside of Japan, so be prepared for that. This place was fun and friendly. It can get pricey if your greedy and just keep grabbing things like I did.
