Lafayettes is a great option at The Point Orlando. Authentic Cajun cuisine, live music, awesome decor and great drinks what more can you ask for? Upon entering I noticed a check in offer and took. Full advantage earning myself a free appetizer. I order the melon ceviche which was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. For my meal I had the salmon sandwich with seasoned fries. The salmon was flavorful and fresh the tomato jam and the aioli provided the perfect sweet and savory combination along with the peppery bitterness of the arugula bringing it all together creating a delightful flavor experience. Highly recommend would come again

Awesome atmosphere and good cajun food!

Nice place, little overpriced for what they offer though. Lamb lollipops were bomb and service on top

The place seemed to be understaffed, it just took a long time for everything ordering drinks and dinner then getting both. We actually got our 2nd round of drinks after we had finished our meal. The food was ok but was warm at best almost like it had been done and under the heat lamps for a time before being served. The whole restaurant is basically open air and it was a cold evening so sitting in the cold waiting leads to an undesirable experience.

We ordered the jalapeño hush puppies, the waffle fries, and the stuffed mushrooms and they were all really delicious. But, the most important thing to mention is that there was a drunk man who was entering the restaurant and started being offensive to the hostess, and immediately another waitress said up for her and neutralized the situation like a pro. It was awesome! The staff here are top notch.

Terrible service. Very slow. Not a good experience when you wait 15 min for someone to come just to get you water. Another 10 to take your drink order. 25min between appetizers and entree. Won't soon go back

The service tonight was unfortunate. Everything got delayed multiple times. Drinks took 45 minutes (not busy at the time). While our group recognizes that there are busy times, the comments about the delay were off putting. When the fries came after we had all eaten our meal (ie dessert time), and we commented that they were too late, the response was 'well, they are excellent.' The food was decent, when it arrived. The ahi sliders lacked flavor. Sliders in general were small and come with no sides. If you are looking for good service, this may not be the place.

This place was so good we ate here two nights in a row. Probably some of the best gumbo we have ever had. We also had the redfish and it was delicious. Jambalaya good too. Excellent service. Terrific bands. Good drinks. This is our go to place now. Here we are again in Orlando eating here again. Once again, excellent food. I tried the etouffe this time and it was great. Redfish and gumbo again delicious. And the same two guys were playing! They have an amazing range of song. Love this place and will come back a third time when I make it to Orlando.
