I was hungry and didn't want anything heavy. As I was scanning the area for a potential place to grab and go. I happened to see this place. I pass by it frequently and never knew that it was there. It reminds me of a cafeteria which is one of my favorite types. They have so many options. That day all I wanted was sweet plantains. I ordered a large portion to go and continued my journey.

This place was very clean and all the food was very fresh. Lots of options for rice, meats, sides. It’s a long buffet style line and they add to your plate whatever you ask for and bring it to the cashier for you to pay. They also have tables for you to sit and eat after you pay for your food. We came here because it was on the same road as our car rental on the way back to the airport. So this is now our go-to spot when we land in Orlando and need food as soon as we arrive.
Lechonera Latina 5 on McCoy is a hidden gem! The food is super flavorful and the portions are huge. I had the beef stew with rice and beans so good and comforting. If you’re into Latin food, this spot won’t disappoint!

When is today this evening I got some bacalao guisado and I also bought some chicharon. I've been here before and have had been mean arroz con gandules and patellas and it's been delicious every time. 100% the best Latin food I've had in Orlando Florida I've come across a couple of the locations but the best location for me is the old-fashioned-looking one on McCoy Road close to the mall. Go have some great food people!😍🍸🍽
