Food was exceptional, server was not great. Bus boy gave better attention to my table than the server.
Excellent service provided by Daniel last night!! The food was amazing, and enjoyed the evening.
Fully met our high expectations....Our small group gathers here nearly every year and find the venue to be excellent for our social gatherings.....easy access by road for those who need to drive an hour or so to attend....
Service very personal by Donald. He took very good care of us. The piano player in the dining room was awesome!
It's always a great time at 555. Their aged steaks are my favorite and the chocolate souffle, of course. Going back in a couple for weeks for another dinner. Won't get tired of this place.
We have had dinner here many times. Food is very good, service is excellent and it is an old school steak house with a great fish menu.
The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor—definitely the highlight of the meal. The mashed potatoes and baked potato could've used a bit more seasoning for my taste. I'm usually not a fan of mac and cheese, but theirs was absolutely to die for—creamy, cheesy, and delicious. The sautéed mushrooms were also spot on. Service was excellent, and I will definitely return!
Loved being back at 555! It's been a couple years, but the outstanding food and service has not changed. We sat on the patio, water, warm bread with butter came out almost immediately. Drinks came, then a beet salad soon after. I had surf&turf with garlic mash, my husband had the ribeye but I don't remember which cut. We added the broccolini as well. Everything was extraordinary, I ate my lobster tail completely, then had a couple bites of filet mignon. Perfectly cooked. It was my birthday, so I ordered the chocolate souflé, but our server also brought out crème brûlée with a candle! We boxed up absolutely everything we couldn't finish! Our server was amazing, always close by if we needed anything. If we ever move, we're moving to Long Beach!!
Exceptional food! Julian was our server. He's amazing. It was a perfect birthday celebration dinner. The steaks were incredible. Perfectly cooked. Sides were great. Ten stars !
Always excellent here- great craft cocktails! We aren't steak eaters but love to go here for fish and the wedge salad- sat at the bar and that was great too. Bartenders are friendly and very entertaining as they are really busy!

Freaking fantastic all around especially the service. The vibe is energetic and lively, old school bar, awesome piano player. The food is expensive, yes, but for the special occasion restaurant that it is, it's worth it for those special, memorable times. Love it!
We celebrated our anniversary at 555 last night and we had an excellent experience. The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated immediately and service was great and timely. The steaks were amazing and prepared exactly as we requested. All other dishes: salads, sides and a chocolate souffle were wonderful. We will definitely return and recommend 555 to others.
Great as always. If you want a traditional steakhouse experience in Long Beach this is the best. Server Sarah was a particular delight who said while we were pondering our choices with cocktails in hand “Do you need a few moments to drink about it?” Highly recommended.
We had lunch at 11:30 so it was very quiet and enjoyable. Dinner time might be more noisy. My hamburger was juicy and cooked to my liking of medium rare. It's hard to have restaurants do this right. Fries are thin and crispy. Great cocktails. Will go back and try dinner.
I've been dining at 555 since 2021. The steaks rarely disappoint. Oysters and wine are good when recommended properly. Normally I rave about this place to others, but have found their service to be extremely inconsistent. Last night we dined with another couple who was there for their first time, and the waitress was particularly awful. I felt too bad to complain as it seemed busy, but she was definitely new and unfamiliar with the menu. Normally I ask the servers to bring a variety of oysters they recommend, and recommend a bottle of wine, etc. She just seemed lost and looking for guidance . To top it off, she accidentally ran into my hand with a serving plate while trying to clear it, and proceeded to mistakenly knock my iphone off the table and it landed face down on the floor. After that, we decided not to opt for a bottle or desert. Again, I really did feel bad for her and it's unfortunate she was put on the floor by management being as unprepared as she was. It makes the rest of the servers look bad and, to be honest, classed the place down a lot for me.
