Customer service is top notch! Great food and accommodations.
We will definitely be back. Cornell at the front desk and the ladies servicing the club level lounge were fantastic.
If you are going to Universal or Islands of Adventure - stay here! Just finished our first time to a Loews while staying at the Royal Pacific. Check-in was super easy. They had upgraded our room to which the kids adored. The pool area was well equipped, clean, and life guards quite professional. Parking very nearby to the hotel entrance and easy in and out. We took the water taxi over to the parks and it ran efficiently. Having Express Unlimited passes was why we choose the Loews and having those negated the $$$ price of the hotel. We were able to use Express entry on essentially all the rides - and multiple uses! Overall, very good experience. We'll be back!
Down side of check in being pretty large but it's nice there is a luggage hold and express passes available with certain room packages. Pool is awesome during the day but slam packed by the evening. They offer boats to the city walk which is nice.
Mary on reception ruined the first day of holiday by not allowing me to check in to my room because it was my friend who paid and they hadn’t landed yet. So I was sweaty, hot, starving, tired just travelled for an entire day from the UK and had to just sit and wait for hours longer when I should have had my room. I had the receipt, the card it was booked with, yet she wasn’t interested in these details and completely refused to let me check in. In November when I visited with exactly the same situation the reception staff were able to check me in, so Mary has taken this decision herself yo deny me check in, and I’m sitting here absolutely boiling hot sweaty and starving unable to change or freshen up or use my room, she has given me the option of taking my suitcase into a public shower or just taking myself off to city walk like either of those options are ok, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, I am a regular guest here, it’s pretty obvious to anyone that this is my booking or why would I have all the details of it? Why would I have the card it was paid with?
Outstanding resort with cool South Pacific vibes and is part of the Signature series of resorts at Universal.
Oh how my kids loved this place! I am born and raised floridian. I have never stayed at a Universal resort hotel and we finally decided to do so as I am a new RN. We finally decided to splurge the kids as I am finally done with nursing school. My kids enjoyed the pool but the boat part was not working or under maintenance. My girls made the best of it with dad and I was with baby. There were two young ladies that explained to me how it worked which was so kind of them. They were giving the towels on Sunday MAY 19 around 6pm. They also informed me that at 8pm there was going to be a movie played. Huge shout out to both of them for the information!!!
Beautiful hotel, great place to stay at especially if you want to visit Universal Studio. Nice free water taxi will take you right at the heart of City walk too.
I want to start this review by recognizing the incredible customer service I received from Noah at the front desk of Loews Royal Pacific Resort. His service was absolutely 5 stars — and truly the highlight of my stay.
That said, I’m giving 4 stars overall due to an unfortunate inconvenience. On the night of my birthday, after a full day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, my friends and I were really looking forward to winding down at the pool. Both the resort map we were given at check-in and the signage by the pool stated that it closed at 11 PM, so we planned our evening around that and headed over around 10:30 PM — only to find the pool already closed.
It was disappointing and confusing. We’d gone off the resort’s own information, and being turned away early—especially on my birthday—was a letdown. I strongly feel that better communication between the resort staff and posted hours could help prevent situations like this, which leave guests frustrated and uncomfortable.
Later that evening, I stopped by the front desk for something else and casually mentioned what had happened. I wasn’t expecting anything, just wanted to voice the issue — but Noah immediately listened with empathy and professionalism. He truly understood where I was coming from and didn’t minimize the experience at all.
Then, he went above and beyond: a little while later, Noah personally delivered a bottle of champagne to our room with birthday wishes. That level of care, thoughtfulness, and personal touch turned what could’ve been the low point of my stay into one of the most memorable and heartwarming moments. It wasn’t just about the champagne — it was the fact that he cared enough to do it himself.
So yes, I’m giving this review 4 stars due to the confusion with the pool — but Noah’s service deserves 10 out of 5. He made me feel seen, heard, and appreciated as a guest, and that’s something I’ll never forget. The resort is lucky to have him.
Thank you again, Noah — you truly made my birthday special.
Could not have stayed a better place that was available.

Luxury experience
This hotel is really nice, very kid friendly. The front desk was very helpful and checking in was quick and easy. Only ate at one place, Jake's and the food was really good. Definitely recommend for a family vacation.
Great experience. Staff was always helpful and amazing!
Quick walk to universal studios. Noah at the front desk is awesome and took great care of us. He made my birthday great with his service and care for our family.
Strongly advise against staying on the ground floor as the hotel is LOUD and the rooms are not well sound proofed. People coming in until 2am, unruly. Doesn't have the feel of a luxury hotel for this reason although the ambience of the lobby area is nice.
