I am so mad at myself for not going here sooner. The lady working there was lovely, and suggested some other vegan places to get baked goods, as well as the Asian market where I could get some of the items in the dishes we ate. I had the Singapore noodles which were so delicious. I was psyched because I hadn't had them in ten years and they were even better than I remembered. It was a great experience and I'll be back when I'm in town again.

i love this quaint vegan restaurant! i've dined in once and the other times were takeout, but when i'm craving comforting and tasty food loving hut is the place to go. the actual restaurant isn't huge but there's space for tables. it's pretty quiet inside, but not to the point that it is awkward.
my go-to takeout order is steamed dumplings and chow mein; however, i've tried other menu items as well and they're all pretty consistent in terms of quality. they also make a surprisingly delicious philly cheesesteak and amazing taro buns. sometimes the food is a little on the oily side for me, but it's never anything severe.
i haven't been to any other loving huts so i can't claim to know how it compares, but if they're all like this then i can be sure to recommend!

Great Vegan Spot with Tasty Options
Plenty of vegan dishes to choose from, and after trying several, I keep coming back to my favorites — the food is flavorful and best enjoyed hot, so I recommend ordering as soon as you're seated.
There’s usually just one person handling both dine-in and takeout, so things can get a bit hectic. I’ve found it works best to place any takeout orders after getting my dine-in meal to avoid confusion.
The A/C doesn’t seem to cool the space well, and there’s a dusty fan in the dining area I try to avoid. It would be great if the cooling situation were improved.
That said, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and I never have to worry about cross-contamination — which is a huge plus for vegans.

This was my first time there. Everything is vegan. The fried oyster mushroom with mustard sauce was very good. The fried sweet sour chicken with white rice and cucumber was delicious. My best friend loved the beef soup.

My wife and I have come here a lot. The lady behind the counter is a bully. My wife stood at the counter to order when the woman pointed to her own face and neck, swirled her finger in a circle and VERY LOUDLY yelled that my wife's skin is very dry and said do you even put anything on that? My wife has lupus and was experiencing a flare up. It was so shocking. My wife immediately walked out and was bombarded with more screaming in English and Vietnamese telling her to come back and finish her order. Totally shocking experience

I’ve been to Loving Hut on Colonial Drive a few times over the years, and honestly, it used to feel just okay. But lately something has really changed for the better. My wife and I went for lunch today and the food was incredible fresh, flavorful, and just full of life.
It feels like they’ve stepped up their game in a big way. Every dish we had tasted amazing, not heavy or bland, but vibrant and satisfying. You can tell they’re paying more attention to quality and flavor now.
If you’ve been here before and thought it was just average, I’d say give it another shot. Whatever they’re doing different these days is really working, and we walked out super happy with our meal.
My favorite vegan spot in all of Florida. You can’t go anywhere else and get such a huge selection of vegan options. Lots of love in every dish.

Loving hut a few years ago was awesome. However the quality has noticeably become subpar. The dishes are decent but not as great as they used to be. Menu seems to be getting smaller as well. Still a good option if you are nearby!
