This weekend, we enjoyed our experience once again. Great ambiance and timely service.
This time, our lunch was good…albeit didn’t have the same explosive (high caliber) flavor as we’ve known - we’ve eaten here well over a dozen times. Perhaps there was a change in chefs this past weekend, or you’re in the middle of hiring a new one..it wasn’t exactly the same.
Our recent experience won’t stop us from coming back though, we enjoy Mamak.

Nice atmosphere and decoration, but the skewers were way too small for that price. The bean sprouts were not cooked enough and the tom yum was really sour. Alright experience, but not going to repeat.
I had the Malaysian paratha and also chicken wings. Were quite good but not exquisite

food is wayyy to mid and freezer tasting for the restaurant to be this pretty inside. i got the steamed pot stickers (i could’ve ate this at home.) the brown sauce /soy tasted like liquid salt, awful. this place used to be good i don’t know what happened but i won’t be coming back

I have no idea how this place is rated so high, the prices and product are terrible $8 for about 20 undercooked fries out a frozen bag, $6 for 4 thumb sized Rangoon's. don't com here unless you're trying to burn money

I was happily surprised by the variety of food offered, although it felt like there were more Tapas than normal meals.
The fried tofu tapas came with a mountain of light fried tofu with two dipping sauces.
The duck fried rice was absolutely delicious and my favorite meal of the day. However, I felt like the meal should have been topped with a few pieces of duck.
I ordered a soup with chicken/shrimp wontons which had a light broth, three wontons, and two pieces of char siu. It was pretty good, but the fried rice (again) won for the tastiest thing we tried.
The staff were friendly and the restaurant was open and inviting. However, once it got busier it got very loud inside and parking options became scarce.
Vegetarian options: Tofu and veggie rolls tapas options noted
Parking: The shared strip mall parking lot behind the restaurant was empty upon arrival, but when we left all spots were taken and several cars were circling and/or waiting for someone to leave.

this was the most life changing meal i’ve ever had. i won’t be shutting up about this ever.
We had a pleasant experience. The environment was beautiful and the plants were a great touch of aesthetic. The food was good. Ordered pad Thai, it was pretty bland but the sriracha helped. Ilenea was our server and she took great care of us. Ask for her at your next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mamak in Orlando, and the food was truly exceptional. Each dish was a flavorful delight, showcasing a great blend of spices and fresh ingredients. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere further enhanced the experience. We tried the duck, curry and basil goreng and enjoyed it all.
However, I did encounter some issues with the service. Although the staff was friendly, the service was noticeably slow, and there were a few mix-ups with our order. Despite these service hiccups, the outstanding food makes Mamak a worthwhile visit, and I look forward to returning with the hope of a smoother experience next time.
