Mango's Tropical Cafe Orlando

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is top notch. Went to have dinner party of 8. Almost all of out orders came out wrong. One order of steak was so bad the waitress took it off without even asking. Way to expensive for this type of issues you dont even experience at an Applebee's. Outside of the dinner the drinks were good. Not much of a show but was entertained. Hope to maybe give it a second chance when we come back.

My girls and I were so disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this place here for so long but it was very underwhelming. The empanadas alone should be ashamed of themselves. The picadillo had no flavor and they were rubbery, I don’t know how they manage to mess up a Cesar salad but they did. A Cesar salad should not have a “smoked” flavor, our glasses were dirty, and the chicken alfredo was so thickened with cheese it wasn’t enjoyable to eat. The food here failed miserably. The waitress was just ok… not very attentive or helpful with answers to our questions. The only thing nice was the environment. I paid 50.00 for a crappy salad and one beer, one cup of water. Oh yea, you’re charged for a glass of water!!

Julio our host was amazing he is the whole reason we stayed and will come back. Their was also an older gentleman who was simply amazing and made our stay wonderful

Went to Chris Brown after party and it was everything! I told my husband we have to come back to Orlando just to visit Mangos! It’s a vibe for sure!!

Mango’s Middle has a nice atmosphere and the food was pretty good overall, especially the drinks which were refreshing. The music and energy of the place make it fun, but I felt the service could have been better and a few dishes didn’t quite meet expectations. Still worth checking out, but there’s room for improvement.

Dj was so bad and the manager poor guy, terrible. Servers try to add things on your bill. Make sure you check your receipts.

They tried to overcharge me on the bill $370 thank God I always check. On top of that, they rushed me to eat because they delayed my food by an hour. We had planned to stay longer, but the server said that in order to remain at our table, we had to move to the bar after spending $260

The DJ was new (no comment), and we came here hoping to feature this place on a blog and TV after someone recommended it as a good Latin spot to hang out. Unfortunately, the DJ didn’t know how to mix music, and the host (who was also the manager and from Colombia) didn’t care at all.

We stayed to see if things would improve throughout the night, we spend another $230 but I just have to say DONT waste your time or money here. It’s such a beautiful space and atmosphere, but it’s completely ruined by poor management and bad performances.

This place is amazing but the reason for the 3 stars is you are encouraged to get a table… fine I saw it worth it cause it included a bottle and drinks are over priced so fine… but then the hookah girl told me it was $58 for the entire night, great, we did it. It kept dying every 40 mins or so, and then the third time I got someone to come to us she wanted to charge another $38 which I explained didn’t make sense cause I was told it was all night. She stated no it’s only 2 hours. So I said that doesn’t seem right, but it’s not like I can have that conversation right then and there, it’s loud and crowded. So we paid it and guess what, it lasted less than 20 mins and then no one came to replace it. Overall, good time but not worth the money honestly.
