I was in the area and randomly spotted this restaurant and decided to give it a try! The service was great, the food was even better! the Empanadas were made fresh! I ordered the jibarito sandwich & my mom ordered the “tostones San Juan” and it was AMAZING!!! FRESH, full of flavor! A 10/10 I would recommend!

Authentic Latin food. Lots of flavor..my rice bowl was fantastic and the empanadas were great too.
Just wanted to share a bad experience I had when I went on a Monday at 11 am. I used to be a regular at this place but since moved. I was extremely disappointed by the way my friend and I were treated. There was a man there who opened the door and said " we are not opened yet because we are working on a big order" he said it would only be about 15 minutes wait. He locked the door and walked away leaving us outside to wait. We decided to wait but after 20 minutes we realized he was not going to return and disregarded us. We decided to leave to another restaurant. I was so disappointed because I was bringing my friend there so she could try the great food. On top of driving 30 minutes to have a nice lunch with my friend at a spot I enjoy. I will sadly never return after that experience. He could have at least allowed us to wait inside or at least acknowledged us. They could have placed a sign outside stating they would not be opening as normally. Very disappointed.

Marita's is supposed to open at 11am. We got there at 10:55. At 11am they opened the door and said they were working on an order. They kept the door locked and did not let us in. At 11:20 I knocked on the door, no one came so we left and went somewhere else to eat. They should have let us in and we would not have minded waiting but instead they ignored us. Bad customer service!
