I had my wedding afterparty here this past Monday. My guests loved the high ceilings, decor, overall aesthetic and the drinks. Hannah was extremely helpful and pleasant during the planning process. I’m so glad I added this 2nd venue to my wedding day because it allowed my guests to unwind and enjoy cocktails and mocktails while mixing and mingling.

Mathers exceeded our expectations in some many levels. We were in the area for a girls trip and a local restaurateur recommended this establishment after dinner. The eclectic atmosphere and indifferent floors of fun and music was super entertaining. The speakeasy on the 3rd floor with burlesque show was fantastic. The drink menu and service were exceptional as well.

We love this place and wanted to keep coming back, but unfortunately our experience with the door policy and staff has left us really disappointed. The first time we visited, my fiancé was wearing a tasteful t-shirt, khaki shorts, and nice shoes, but he was denied entry because he was told a collared shirt was required. We left, purchased one, came back, and were let in.

Fast forward a couple weeks later… we return with the exact same outfit (collared shirt, khaki shorts with belt, and nice shoes), and suddenly he’s denied again. When I politely pressed for clarification, instead of receiving an explanation, I was told to leave. The situation escalated, and what was most upsetting was that the bouncer, who had initially been polite, began physically pushing me. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when all I wanted was a simple explanation.

All we were asking for was consistency and a clear dress code, but instead we were met with disrespect and even physical aggression. Very disappointing, especially for a place we genuinely wanted to enjoy and spend our money.

They treated a friend of mine very poorly here during one visit. On another visit, a bar tender here had extreme lack of accountability for a mistake she made. On a separate visiting my “charcuterie” was a joke. It was not at all quality. These visits span over a couple years. I have no desire to go here again. The swing is really cute and the milk and cookies is fun.

Marcello was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience a vibe! Best espresso martinis! 1000 percent recommend coming to this speakeasy!

This speakeasy is an absolute gem! Marcello is hands-down the best bartender in town. The espresso martinis are divine, and the milk-and-cookies pairing—served with a warm shot—is such a unique touch. I love everything about this place: the vibe, the service, and of course, the drinks!

Absolutely an unforgettable experience. The music was on point. Amazing violin covers to modern music, people dancing, great atmosphere all around. Drinks were great and the service was amazing. There were servers walking around available to bring you a fresh napkin for your drink and ask if you needed anything. A place you can go to dance, lounge around and just be yourself with extremely talented musicians playing top notch. Its a speakeasy so enter through a hidden bookcase, very fun! Highly recommend!

Was in town for just two days for work and decided to stop by here to check out the atmosphere and drinks. Definitely did not disappoint! Had a wonderful time.

Once you go in Mathers you get transported to the 1920’s top notch service I also wanna do a shout out to Alyssa amazing cocktails and great attention to detail! My drinks were fire! I love how Tim and Natalia always knows how to take care of the customers and how detailed they are with everything live coming here!

Mathers Social Gathering is fantastic! Great speakeasy vibes, with a wonderful selection of libations. Dress code enforced, so dress to impress. Our cocktail curator, Marcell was on point and made the experience even more enjoyable. Make sure to arrive early for their burlesque show. Fun atmosphere and will return for sure. Downtown Orlando.

Had a great time and our waitress was amazing. However, when a lady named Natalia came through and told our group that we were on warning #2 because we were lounging on the chairs really killed our vibe and we left promptly after. Such a shame

So - we got married at Mather’s! It was a top notch experience thanks to Hannah, Mather’s Event Coordinator, who made sure our wedding was nothing short of exceptional. She recommended our dueling pianos vendor, orchestrated a rehearsal, and ensured all of our guest’s food allergies and preferences were accommodated! An amazing experience all around!
