My Experience was Terrible, Today i Whent with my Wife to have some Lunch, as we go in staff sees you dont even boder to say Hi Good afternoon at all, Everyone was in their own world like if we where not there like if i was full and i was empty. I proced to Order Quarter chicken with fries, and a Plate with raice, pork and yuca. I see 2 Alcapurias so i grab them as we get the food and sit, table was dirty , i start eathing my Alcapurria when i feel the need to cough i feel something stuck when i finally got it out, Was a piece of Black glove inside of it, at this poin i when to the counter and notify staff and show it, she say to me is part of the season 😳😳 i wass whatt dont you see is burn ruber and you can strech it and i tell her take your gloves and feel it. and than she say wow looks like rubber, i will notify manager, and ask me if i want another one...! That yould happen be to Anyone and end up in worst. At the end we left and never enjoy the food. If i could do 0 Starts i would.

Update…. The thing about the cod was months ago, that's why I said the penultimate time, I had to put it in water so that it would release so much salt…. The steak thing is recent…. The place is good, you just have to check how they are cooking... I really don't go again, the penultimate time the cod was super salty, and the last time the rice with pigeon peas was almost raw and the steak was like chewing gum...it's not worth the expense.

I went today, December 22, 2024, they gave me raw yellow rice, I asked in a low voice to replace the rice and I waited too long since the manager told a certain employee to solve it quickly and I only asked for white rice and the employee was late eating shit, serving me white rice and I left because I felt that I was not equal to him and he discriminated against me since I have been visiting the restaurant for a long time and I am going to file bigger complaints with the department because I sense that some do not have a work permit.
They didn't know how to prepare the horrible Tripleta Sandwich and the pork had a bad smell. It went to the trash

Insanely authentic, savory puertorican food. I love that you get to see the kitchen and the variety of things you are able to buy. Their mofongos are very good, they even come with great garlic sauce (caldo). Prices are very reasonable, on the cheap side. If you like Puerto Rican food, you should try it at least once!
