Oh I’m so happy Melao is here. Very reasonable priced sandwiches. We had Virginia ham, turkey and breakfast platter. They were all plentiful and filling. Coffee was great as well. You do need to check on order as sometimes you may not hear your name called out, as the order sits. The only downside were the sorrullitos, they didn’t gave us the special at first but we asked for it. Still, I found them a bit doughy for me, others in my group did like them. No refills on drinks, at least I didn’t check if they offer it, but the machine was being counter. Certainly worth it among all other sandwich places, and reasonably priced.

Came from the airport and found this wonderful bakery. Wonderful atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating. Sampled several bakery items and loved them all. Coffee was excellent!

Bakery and breakfast spot with outside seating. The coffee is really strong and delicious! We visited for breakfast but they also have an afternoon happy hour from 4-6pm.

My wife is from Colombia, I in 2018 I had the pleasure of going myself and enjoying all of the amazing food in Colombia. That is hard to recreate but I would say mecatos does a great job! The food and pastries are amazing and authentic. Definitely give them a try!

I'm a regular customer to the Lake Nona location and have been customer since Mecatos originally opened in Waterford Lakes 9-10 years ago. I appreciate the great customer service that all the employees always offer, very attentive, quick and with a friendly smile, which is SUPER important when you are dealing with the public. Coffee and food are always good. Consistent flavor throughout all the locations.

Today, March 9, 2025 at 9:38 in the morning I went to this bakery in which I ordered a couple of things in the box. I was missing a few. I was charged for two tiramisu instead of one and the tiramisu was horrible. I was charged to coladas For seven dollars and they added a tip in which I stated that I did not want to leave tip because I had horrible service the lady did not understand me.. I will be taking this up with a Better Business Bureau!! I want my money back from this disgusting food.

I certainly intend to return. The food and service were excellent.

Update:I went back after 3 years. Coffee was hot and OK, not great. Cheese bread was cold.
I am not coming back.

The food is very delicious but the service is terrible, I have gone on several occasions and different girls have served me and what a horrible attitude!! They should improve that and give them a talk to improve customer service.
