Mellow Mushroom Orlando

Holy shiitake and house special are the pizzas to get. Bit pricey compared to other pizza places, but good change from the giant chain pizza places.

Originally we had made reservations at Coopers Hawk. Unfortunately, they had our reservation in Orlando and we thought it was at Coopers Hawk in the Waterford Lakes mall. Since we were unwilling to drive into Orlando we decided to try something different. We decided on the Mellow Mushroom on E. Colonial Dr. It was shortly after 6 pm when we arrived last evening (12/11) and there were plenty of tables. We were a party of 6. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks. While we were waiting we scanned the menu and decided on two pizzas, the NEW Steakhouse Pizza and the Holy Shiitake pizza. We also ordered the Spinach salad with an apple-flavored dressing…fantastic! The pizzas were served piping hot and they were both delicious. The new Steakhouse pizza had a bit of heat to it, but it was very good, as was the Holy Shiitake mushroom pizza. In addition, the wines were all 1/2 price, so we enjoyed some wine with our pizzas. As for the service, I can't say enough good things about the waitstaff! Our server (sorry, I didn't get her name) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, so when we asked about certain items she was able to answer all of our questions.

If you have not been to a Mellow Mushroom for pizza you MUST put it on your “to go to” restaurants list. The pizza crust could be ordered thin or thick, but either way it is delicious and crispy. We will be sure to visit again because there are other items we saw on the menu which we want to try, especially the Magic Mushroom soup!

All six of our group give the Mellow Mushroom restaurant 5 stars AND two thumbs up!

In Orlando visiting, we had their Holy Shiitake pizza with caramelized onions and truffle oil with a side of wings. Delicious!

It cost me $50 to have a medium pizza and a brownie delivered. Honestly I could have put all the toppings in a matchbox and still had room for the matches. Never again.

First of all you go here for the food not for the atmosphere it's okay it's basic you know I don't care college look clean and 50s look sort of! ⁉️

Came here for my mom's birthday and had a really great time! Food is great. It was actually my first time trying the chicken wings from Mellow Mushroom, and they were excellent!! We got the shiitake mushroom pizza and enjoyed it!

Ordered pickup. Pizza was a bit expensive but gave it a chance. Pickup wasn't ready on time. Also, pizza has excessive crust and huge crust bubbles. If you do pickup make sure you check it before you leave. I would have refused to accept it but I sent a family member to grab it. I expect quality if I'm going to pay a premium and I did not get that.

We have never had a bad meal @ Mellow Mushroom! Salads are always fresh and crisp and the Orange Blossom Pilsner! Can't miss dining experience!

Keep coming back besides the amazing food that my children like the whole staff is amazing and always make us feel like family. We are usually very close to closing time and never rushed us through and we are usually a party of 8 or more!!!! Thank you guys very much. Highly recommend this specific location 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Low quality food at fine dining prices ... everything is over priced an the food quality is beyond horrible..we had burgers an pizzas all of which was severely below quality an it was o er 60$ for 3 people...this was our first time here sad to say it will also be our last for what went spent on mediocre food we could of ate at a nice steak house for the same price

Terrible experience. I ordered pizza from here expecting a hot, delicious meal, but I got a cold, soggy mess that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The cheese was congealed, the crust was stale, and the toppings were thrown on carelessly. It’s like they didn't even try. To make matters worse, the pizza arrived late, and it was obvious no effort was made to keep it warm.
This place doesn’t care about quality or its customers. I’ve had better-frozen pizza at home. Save your time, money, and taste buds don’t bother with this place. Never ordering from here again!
