Mellow Mushroom Orlando

Went last weekend for the first time had a good experience. Food and service were both very good. So good that we decided to go this weekend. We ordered the same exact thing one medium cheese and one medium mighty meat. Both thin crust and well done. When out food came today everything was raw. How does a thing crust well done come with raw dough? I was there with my two small children and didn’t want to make a scene so everyone just tried the pizza and then sat there. When we were finally asked if we needed anything we said we were done and just wanted to leave. Then our waiter went on to do other things and the aggravation built. Needed up have to flag her down at another table and said we wanted to go now. A restaurant can stay open that can’t make a Consistent product from week to week I don’t understand. On top of it all serving pizza with raw dough. ( all the way through. The inside of the crust was still wet and the bottom was still gummy) Never ever again. So many better option for pizza like Bella Roma. Ovoid at all costs.

Pizza is just too good. It's a treat whenever we are in town.

Come here often and have only have great experiences.

My go-to for non-fried food

We were a group of 12 service was great, orders were quickly delivered to our table five different pizzas and wings. Food was great will go there again when we visit our son.

The service was racist against people of color. My dollar is just as good as any other person’s dollar. Management needs to work on this.

Holy shiitake and house special are the pizzas to get. Bit pricey compared to other pizza places, but good change from the giant chain pizza places.

Originally we had made reservations at Coopers Hawk. Unfortunately, they had our reservation in Orlando and we thought it was at Coopers Hawk in the Waterford Lakes mall. Since we were unwilling to drive into Orlando we decided to try something different. We decided on the Mellow Mushroom on E. Colonial Dr. It was shortly after 6 pm when we arrived last evening (12/11) and there were plenty of tables. We were a party of 6. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks. While we were waiting we scanned the menu and decided on two pizzas, the NEW Steakhouse Pizza and the Holy Shiitake pizza. We also ordered the Spinach salad with an apple-flavored dressing…fantastic! The pizzas were served piping hot and they were both delicious. The new Steakhouse pizza had a bit of heat to it, but it was very good, as was the Holy Shiitake mushroom pizza. In addition, the wines were all 1/2 price, so we enjoyed some wine with our pizzas. As for the service, I can't say enough good things about the waitstaff! Our server (sorry, I didn't get her name) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, so when we asked about certain items she was able to answer all of our questions.

If you have not been to a Mellow Mushroom for pizza you MUST put it on your “to go to” restaurants list. The pizza crust could be ordered thin or thick, but either way it is delicious and crispy. We will be sure to visit again because there are other items we saw on the menu which we want to try, especially the Magic Mushroom soup!

All six of our group give the Mellow Mushroom restaurant 5 stars AND two thumbs up!

In Orlando visiting, we had their Holy Shiitake pizza with caramelized onions and truffle oil with a side of wings. Delicious!

It cost me $50 to have a medium pizza and a brownie delivered. Honestly I could have put all the toppings in a matchbox and still had room for the matches. Never again.

First of all you go here for the food not for the atmosphere it's okay it's basic you know I don't care college look clean and 50s look sort of! ⁉️
