The Vegan Field Roast Chili Dog was topped with three bean chili, lentils, hominy, chopped onions, and vegan cheddar cheese on a poppyseed bun. The bun was soggy and the cheese wasn't melted, but the fries were good.

We were really looking forward to trying Mel’s and placed a mobile order, but unfortunately the wait time ended up being about an hour longer than advertised. With the day already packed, we had to cancel and grab some crepes from a nearby kiosk instead.

That said, the management at Mel’s handled everything perfectly. They refunded our money without any hassle and were genuinely helpful and understanding about the situation. Even though we didn’t get to eat there this time, their customer service deserves a shout-out. I’d definitely give them another try on a less busy day.

Completely packed to a point you can even hear the name they are calling for the order. It is waiting for a rollercoaster without the fun. Horrible place, only have people because the park is so full

the patty was burned to a crisp. all i taste is the lack of ketchup and the bitterness of the „meat“. the fries are fine and i like the diner theme a lot! but why would there be no refills? that‘s exactly what i came to america for.

AVOID very busy and disorganised. Burgers, when eventually Served? up were COLD. Salad was dry, tasteless and inedible. Plus, I asked for grilled chicken. The 'salad' came with crispy, dried out, stale meat.... VERY VERY POOR INDEED.

Terrible fast food style plastic cups, no lids, no straws. Unbelievable. I asked an employee who was restocking the napkins if he could hand me a small stack of napkins for myself and my family since it would be faster than grabbing one napkin at a time from the bottom of it. He says “no you have to grab from the bottom” while holding a stack of napkins that would’ve been perfect amount for myself and my family, I say please and he shuts the napkin holder and walks away. I then started grabbing napkins from the bottom but every-time I tried they would just rip and tear apart. Not a good experience, chicken burger and their fries suck

Mel's famous burger is, by any standard, remarkably lacking - clearly a frozen patty, it tasted like freezer burn with a fake smoke flavor. Wouldn't eat again. My wife, brother, and sister in law all got the chicken strips - I had a bite of one of those, and it was pretty good. Glad to see they use Ken's honey mustard.

Food is fair at best , you order first in a long line and then you wait in a long line to pick up food. Don't go on weekends. Chicken sandwich has no taste or seasoning. This use to be the spot to eat.
