We took the roasted chicken platter and the homemade thai tea. The food was absolutely fantastic! The platter came with rice, chicken, soup and hot sauce. Each and every component was great, especially the hot sauce. The homemade thai tea was perhaps the best tea I've had in life. Overall, fantastic experience. Will definitely come again.
So gooooddd. It came out quick and it was excellent. I tend to be very critical but through and through. From the beautiful chunks of celery in the broth to the house made chili sauce, and that perfect thin coating on the fried chicken.... My mom wouldn't stop talking about the food as she was eating it.
Ok, the Hainanese chicken rice and the Hainanese Fried Chicken are both good. The traditional is glistening, tender, melty, flavorful and authentic - very delicious. The fried version complimented the traditional so well and it was crunchy and yet so tender and so good.My only complaint and its kind of a big one is the rice was WET. Like way past fork tender but not yet porridge and to the point where it was mush in the mouth without biting, and all you got was flavored water....
