this is really a takeout place with some quick tables like night market kart in asia. the reviews are so great and there was a pretty steady stream of customers.i got the rice and bbq pork/ crispy pork combo. the crispy pork was not just crispy, it was super hard so it made it hard to eat. the bbq pork was ok, a little fatty. overall not too much flavor by itself. the sauces were good though. not enough vegetables for the dish. i also got the hananiese chicken rice with rice. the chicken itself was ok. i got the dark meat but there were no bones! so that was a plus. again not enough vegetables and the meat itself was a little bland but with good sauces.overall there’s definitely msg in the food and or sauces. everything was a little lackluster so unfortunately i will not be going back. if i do it would just takeout the chicken.

Great food, went past it twice though on the road because it is actually inside the Asian market, Freshii, on 50 and Bumby. I got the combo crispy and bbq pork over rice and some spring rolls. The pork is addictive, especially the crispy part of the belly.

It's a small area in the corner inside a big Asian super market. They might be the only place in Orlando that serves this wonderful Singaporean popular dish called chicken rice which I think is known in China as hainanese chicken rice. It's so good but I think it's over priced for a small bowl of rice, a small bowl of chicken broth, and a few slices of a chicken breast, with a humble atmosphere (see pictures). I still love it there and I enjoy tremendously, but I think the price is a bit too high for the portions and the atmosphere.

Ok so I believe every other review for this place is from people that dined in or maybe their friends and family dined in because the food portions and taste for what we paid, is definitely NOT worth the money. Easy to order but we didn't get to eat there like we wanted to because they only have one table and a small booth for 4 people and they were occupied. Anyway, it was our first time ordering from there and the last. We get our order 20 minutes later and we were very disappointed to say the least. We got the bbq pork, curry chicken, coconut soup and the pork spring rolls. All of the food was warm, except the 3 spring rolls which were the size of my finger I swear, the bbq pork was nothing but super fatty pork and all dishes we got lacked flavor. The food portion was ridiculously small that we left hungry for the $40 + we paid for 2 dishes, tiny rolls and a soup. We did notice the food portions being a lot more, if you're lucky enough to eat at their 1 table or mini booth, than the small "to-go" containers we got. But we won't be coming back for those prices or lack of flavor anyway. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money.

How often does one get the chance to say their favorite meal is on a countertop, inside an Asian grocery store? I can say this often, and often I do. We may be lucky to live a part of Orlando that has so many wonderful Asian cuisine options, but none compare to the authenticity and adoration of Meng’s. It’s not just the consistent incredible quality, or the flavor, or the friendly service I often feel undeserving of- it’s good food. Really good food. A level of quality of food restaurants around the world couldn’t even dream of being able to create. When at Meng’s, the state of my hunger only accelerates when I can see my food being prepared through the window; an opportunity some restaurants would dare not take - but one Meng’s embraces. I often miss Anthony Bourdain and his adventures - I miss him more when thinking of this restaurant - as it represents what he would love about it - an incredible place to dine, at a honest price, and a humble attitude, that finds its way into the food. I cannot wait to be back again, and again, and again.

I randomly came across Meng's Kitchen while browsing through the Fresh Market's ailes. I smelled comfort Asian food and followed the scent arriving at the left corner of the supermarket. It was a pleasant surprise to find a small sit-down/takeaway joint with a long menu for such a small place (there are about 10 - 12 chairs max). It was raining and I was craving soup, so went with the hot & sour lemongrass soup. The broth was good but would have been nicer if it had come with rice or noodles. It was a light soup since it only came with chicken and vegetables. I also ordered a side of spring rolls, which were just regular spring rolls, 3 small ones. Service was very friendly: the manager, who might also be the owner, passed through each table asking how the food was. The food did not take too long to arrive. I plan to go back to dry one of their rice entrees.

Meng's Kitchen is WAY better than I would have expected! Located inside iFresh Market, you'd never expect a place this good to exist here. iFresh Market doesn't look great on the outside...but it's completely different on the inside! We lived in Thailand for 2 months in 2022, and the food here is just as good as what you get there! It's incredibly flavorful, and it comes out really fast - no complaints about service. Lots of great options from chicken biryani to five spice-braised pork belly to Hainan chicken and rice and so much more! We got the chicken biryani, five spice roasted chicken and rice, and fried chicken wontons - all were AWESOME! Would highly recommend. And there is even a fantastic Chinese bakery (Sweet Bakery) right next door! Make the effort to visit Meng's Kitchen because you will love it!!

Went to the Asian grocery store and husband was hungry. We stop by this lovely restaurant inside the store. I think most people order takeaway but if you have a small parties like 2-3 people, there is a bench and a table right in front of the restaurant. Food is SUPER good. My husband has chicken over rice but he finished the dish while I shopping. I had Pad See-U, which is stir-fried flat noodles with eggs and dark soy sauce. Very simple but SUPER YUMMY. We ordered Ka Prao Crispy Pork Belly takeaway, but my husband was tempted by that golden piece in front of us (in the picture.) He engulfed almost half the box. I highly recommend Meng's Kitchen if you are looking for Thai-Chinese style fast dishes, or just check this place out when you are at iFresh Asian supermarket.

I am a huge crispy pork belly fan and for yrs I have been hunting for a location that serves not only a crispy but flavorful pork belly dish . I can for sure say Meng's Kitchen is the place to be if you are looking for the BEST pork belly. Meng's is just a small corner inside a Market but boy oh boy do they are friendly, clean and lovely. The pork belly is packed with flavor and fresh. We ordered the Pork Belly noodle bowl and the Spiced Chicken noodle bowl. Menu is full of great choices. MENG'S Kitchen - Nestled in the left corner of I Fresh Market on Colonial Drive. A must try!!!! Great cooked to order flavorful food. Arrived before the lunch rush. Ordered my Chinese BBQ Pork over rice and a bowl of chicken & rice soup. Both very good dishes. I sat in the corner watching numerous folks coming up to the counter to order meals and folks picking up orders called in. At the same time, Uber and other car delivery services showed showing their orders from their cell phones. Off they went delivering Meng's across the area. Amazing how this small no frills spotless restaurant nestled in the corner of this Asian grocery store I Fresh Market does it. A very quiet and efficient operation here!! Support local businesses folks. AJ and crew serves great food that the neighborhood loves with smiles!!
