In better condition. Reasonable pace. Got paired up with 2 nice locals. Greens a little slow but in good shape.

Yesterday I was driving down Hiawassee Rd, I had just left preaching, I was on my way to work and a golf ball came out of nowhere and crashed into my car with such force that the sound it made was horrible, almost frightening. I hit the car from the side and to avoid it I almost left the road. After getting over the scare. I went to the golf course to report it and Jay the Manager only told me "sorry we are not responsible, but I have to look for the person responsible"... he saw the schedules he left me waiting and when he came back he only told me "they said they didn't go" totally ABSURD answer. I just wondered what would have happened if I had crashed. WOULD NOBODY BE RESPONSIBLE? They have a golf course in the middle of a passable road without protection to avoid this type of accident and yet they are not responsible for anything?... This is wrong. Although the windshield will be covered by the insurance, the way to solve this problem was totally irresponsible. . They should close a site if they are not going to take responsibility for the risks...

Recently visited MetroWest Golf Club and was pleased with the experience. The golf course is well-kept, offering a fair challenge. We also enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant where the food was tasty and the service friendly. It's a solid choice for golf enthusiasts and those looking for a pleasant dining experience in Orlando. Worth checking out for a leisurely day or a casual outing.

Beautiful layout, forgiving course although challenging quite often with different elevations, water and well positioned bunkers. The staff is super friendly, understanding, welcoming and accomodating. Especially the guys outside! The service at the bar for food is hit and miss. It depends who is working. A few times I've gone up at the turn with no one to be found at the bar for food. The cart comes around on the course, most days, but doesn't carry wraps or sandwiches. The chipping green......well.....there is no green at the chipping green and the ground, there, is very rough. The putting green is excellent and the driving range is fine, but not open on Mondays after noon hour. It's a bit pricy for the condition of the grounds but still worth it and my favorite course around!I will miss it!

Wide open “fairways” driver is in play off of 14 holes. Tee boxes are only marked with poles, no actual boxes. Fairways are not really fairways, more like well mowed grass. Weeds, crab-grass and various unkept conditions. Greens played well, clubhouse staff were friendly and helpful. Range and putting greens are available. If you’re taking a golf trip and will be in the Orlando area for multiple rounds, this is a great course for a practice round.

Sign Restaurant said :join us for a drink. Came at 6.05 today, nobody there. I called... nothing. I mean very early to close a restaurant.

Took the risk and booked a tee time after seeing some of the positive reviews about changes to the course and staff. Glad I did. Exceptional golf experience.

Course is not taken care of. Played here on 3/10/24. Speed of play for 9 holes was 2.5hrs, front counter staff is rude. Spend your money elsewhere for a much nicer experience. This was our worst course of the weekend by far.

Don’t let the bad reviews scare you away. Metro is back!!!! This course used to be one of the best public courses in Orlando. Greens were really smooth. Rolling around a 10. Course was in great shape for where it was only a few years ago. Superintendent is doing an incredible job with an irrigation system from 1950. Never got a bad lie in the fairway. Bermuda is dormant this time of year but got good lies in the rough around the greens. Big wide open course for Florida. Can hit it anywhere. Tee boxes are plush and level. Get out and play this Robert Trent Jones Sr gem!!! Played under 4 hours today. Go play Metro you’ll love it.

What a lovely course. We we're greeted with a friendly smile by the starter, our bags were taken and placed on our cart for us and it was dropped off by the pro shop while we parked up. The course was in great condition, the greens were very, very fast, but they took a ball with ease. Very generous fairways, with plenty of water. The clubhouse food is superb, we had their burger and fries deal for 11 bucks. The staff are very welcoming and ever so friendly, they made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this course and wouldn't hesitate to play it again.

Played this course on January 9th 2024. From the start, the pro shop and dining area is above average with nice staff. As for the practice facilities, I would say it is average at best. However, the grounds keepers were out doing work to make improvements which was a good sign. The range was closed at the time and the chipping green wasn't much of a green at all. Putting green is nice though. As for the course itself, it is pretty wide open and allows you to swing the driver at will but on some holes it comes with consequences. For the time of the year, the fairways, bunkers, and greens were pretty good shape. I would say there is only maybe one bad green on the course but it is also no horrendous. I recommend this course to those looking for a nice course and layout. This course also has its elevation challenges.

Nice layout. A little rough in spots, but I would visit again.

Excellent comments I have read about MetroWest Golf Club. I haven't played it in about two years, because I hadn't been back to Orlando since the Pandemic, but I have always played it. Tomorrow, Tuesday, I will go, with God before me, to play just one game and I am sure I will love it even more now with everything I have read. I hope so and I will leave my comments after the game.
