Hmm... 1) The restaurant contacted me 10 min before our reservation to tell us our table was ready and were we on the way. Added to the pressure of GPS sending us to delivery entrance... 2) The restaurant is kept at Arctic temps. This is presumably to counteract the grills, but tonight not so much. 3) There were 6 people already seated when we 4 were the last group seated at an 8 person table... daughter and I were seated “in the wings”. We would not be able to see the show......
Dining at the Mikado was such a pleasant experience. We we're at the world center for our anniversary.. the food was so good with very little OIL used in the cooking process. It was much quieter than many hibachi style restaurants. I highly recommend their Old Fashion. We chose the fillet mignon and shrimp with the fried rice and it was great. Also, we liked that we could share a meal for 15 more dollars and we each received a salad and soup and our portions were plentiful...
From the hostess to the server to the chef, everything was perfect. The drinks were wonderful, the sushi was fresh and abundant. The main food was not only entertaining but tasted great.
