As much as I hate to have to do this review unfortunately this was one of our favorite restaurants, we usually go here at least once a month even though we live in Lake Nona we absolutely used to love coming here until last night 14th of February 2025. We got here at about 7:40 pm, me and my husband decided to bring my mom who is here on vacation and some friends to dine here and spend the night celebrating valentines. They told us to sign in on the iPad to hat a place on the waiting list, they told us it would be about an hour and we just went to the car and waited, I saw a couple of people going in and getting a table but never thought anything of it until the hour was over and I went in to ask how long was going to be for our table and they told me that it was going to be another half an hour and we just decided to wait another half an hour, I saw they kept taking couples in and I asked them why if you have 7 people waiting out for longer than an hour you keep sitting couples in a table of 4 a mean we have been here for almost 2 hours now and Diana and her team at the entrance just said that reservations go first ( we called that same day to make a reservation and the night before and they told us they don’t do reservations) I told her that and she didn’t even know what to say. Anyways we never got a table, and it was almost 10 at night so we never got food because at that time at night in a Valentine’s Day there was nowhere to go and we’re all left without food!!!!! My advice to the owner that never even came out to apologize or even Diana and the other girl who didn’t even had her name on her shirt never even apologized, is to completely change the people at the entrance, they have not manners or any respect at all to the customers compared to the waiters that are so nice and polite always. Very sad to have people like them at the door of your restaurant. Ruined our night!!!!!!

The worst experience on Valentine's Day Yesterday February 14, 2025, after driving 30 minutes because we live in Lake Nona (and since they didn't make reservations they told us by phone) to get to the Mikado Sushi restaurant at 6417 Raleight st in Orlando...and talking to THE MANAGER DIANA and her team at approximately 7:40pm, they informed us that we had a 1 hour wait to be served (7 people), after the hour we asked again and they told us We still had 30 minutes to wait and accepting this answer without problem we waited 30 more minutes and after 30 minutes we asked again and DIANA informed us that the RESERVATIONS were going to happen first to which we told her but we called and you said that it was on a first come, first served basis and that you didn't work with reservations! She didn't know what to respond and immediately continued passing customers of 2 people and seating them at tables of 4 people, and they were not on the waiting list, leaving us unattended.... 9:45 at night after 2 hours of having arrived and still without a table, Without answers since they simply did not speak to us, we decided to leave the restaurant and 7 PEOPLE WE COULD NOT ENJOY OUR VALENTINE'S DAY DUE TO THE POOR ATTENTION AND NEGLIGENCE OF THE STAFF AT THE DOOR!!!! Unfortunately it was the place that, despite living far away, we tried to go even once a month, it will obviously be the last time we went because they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize...

A disgusting place, the food was fine but there was a cockroach on my plate that was dead and seemed to have been there since they washed the dishes. They only gave me a sorry and removed the cockroach, I couldn't finish my meal. My advice is not to come here.

I used to really like this place, but this time they changed the tip without my consent. The food also wasn’t as good as it used to be.

Amazing. Traditional sushi, a rare treat lately. While they do have some fusion rolls, the menu was heavily set in Traditional items.

If there are rocks to be thrown, it's the lack of menus. It really breaks the mood of the meal to be fighting with your cell phones to find what you want.
