I don’t know too much about authentic Chinese food. All I know is that I wanted to try a Chinese food place near Mills 50. I ordered special fried rice and I can say It was great. Downside was, portions are shareable size, as same for the price. Or at least that’s what I understood, so I couldn’t get other items.

I loved this simple and delicious Chinese restaurant. We went for a sit down dinner on a Friday evening. Service was a bit slow, but the food was absolutely delicious. My husband got Mongolian beef and I got shrimp lo mein. Portions are generous. The decor is simple and lets the food star as the main attraction of this place. We plan to return and get take out from here. Just beware the parking can be difficult so account for that before arriving. Otherwise this restaurant is a real gem like all the other Asian places in the Mills district.

Chive dumplings absolutely delish. Blistered crunchy chewy dough. Filling yum. Sticky rice and spring rolls were good.

Ming Bistro serves excellent Chinese dim sum—fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. Like everywhere these days, prices have gone up quite a bit, but the quality of the food and service makes it worthwhile. The only area that could use some improvement is the décor and overall atmosphere, which could be refreshed to match the high standard of the food.

Ming’s bistro is absolutely the hands-down best din sum in Orlando. My wife and I are dim sum fanatics, we have tried pretty much every dim sum restaurant in Orlando. Mings is the real deal, the servers are Chinese and 95% of the customers are Chinese. That kind of says it all.

It's a small size DimSum restaurant but it's delicious 😋
Worth the 45min drive.
We got 6 DimSum dishes and a large eggplant with meat sauce dish which was around $15-$17 & it comes with rice on the side.
Total came up to about $65 for all 7 dishes.

I adore this place because it feels like you're a local with secret knowledge about a hidden gem. Like some guide took you off the beaten path & introduced you to authentic local cuisine but it's right in the heart of Orlando! (How many times have I driven past it & not known it was even there?!?)
The food reminds me of the Chinese food I used to eat when I was a little girl. I highly recommend (from the Dim Sum menu) the Shrimp Dumplings & the Pork Fried Dumplings - (& from the main menu) the House Special Fried Rice.
**More recommendations to come as I haven't had the chance to try everything... yet...
And the portions are huge! Bring a friend & an appetite - bring a friend with an appetite... or... you can always bring the leftovers home. (It's always better the next morning... with fried eggs on top. * wink * )

This is some of the best Dim-sum in the orlando area, hands down. The only issue is the parking (especially on the weekends. The food is absolutely worth it, though, if you manage to get a spot.
Parking: Really hard to park you often can end up a street down or circling the parking spots for 20 min.
