I felt there were more steak options than fish choices. The steaks that were ordered in our group were a best fair. Have had better steaks at lower end restaurant chains. The service was outstanding, I was just not impressed with the food.

The server was great, gave suggestions on which meal to get and I was very happy he did. My wife and I enjoyed both our meals and everything was very fresh. I would definitely go back.

Not the same MoonFish as in the past. Very inconsistent on the food. Almost as if the grill was too hot. Charred on the outside and raw on the inside. When you charge what they charge, no excuse for that.

One of the best meals ever!!! Get the cedar planked salmon. I cannot even remember having such a wonderful meal. Portion are very generous. Allie our server was the tops! We will be back next time we are in Orlando. We live SWFL and we have nothing this good there and we have many great restaurants. Go here!!! You will enjoy!!!

We thought we would give this place a try since it’s near our home in an area that we love. We were fairly disappointed in our experience. When we arrived although we had made reservations they were late and seating us. This can be understandable. We were directed to the bar where we proceeded to order drinks which never arrived after quite a wait. We were actually seated at our table before our drinks arrived. When I got to the table there were crumbs in a mess on my seat which I had to personally remove. The service was not the greatest but not horrible. The first drink I ordered was completely flat and the carbonation I had to re-order another. This was also flat but I decided not to complain. Finally I switch to wine. The manager was very nice and listen to our concerns. He actually gave us a free dessert and some nice package dessert since we left. That was very kind but not the point of my complaints to him. I’m not sure we’ll go back but I hate to read them I just wanna visit. I know everyone can have a bad night

Saturday was my first visit to Moonfish and I had a great experience! I met a friend there and we both enjoyed great service, quality good and drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely visit visit Moonfish again!!

Oh no don't go. I was looking forward to a nice fish dinner. We chose MoonFish because it was in an area we liked. When we walked in past the incredible door the thoughts of a good meal plunged. The SMELL, like an old dishrag that keeps being used but never washed. I wanted to flee but I persuaded myself that it was the real whole grouper they displayed at the check-in area. We were seated, both of us wavering about leaving and when the waiter came I asked about the smell and he was unaware. So, I again persuaded myself that it was a combination of fish and the wood burning grill. We started with calamari. My husband did not care for the sauce that was served and asked for tartar sauce. It took over 15 minutes to arrive! Now the calamari was cold. The waiter took our order, pork chops for me, medium,no salt or grilling spices please, green beans and fries with truffles: my husband fillet medium rare, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Neither of us wanted fish due to the crazy odor and chances that it might be rotting fish. So we stuck with the meat. After taking our order the waiter brought us a freshly fired calamari, nice gesture but we were saving room for the main event. What an event it was. Pork chop so overdone that I could barely cut it. Over salted and full of the grilling spice, the veg was asparagus and mashed potato. My husband got the right side but had a costly filet that was medium to well. I told the waiter about the veg mistakes and he brought me the fries but no green beans. I wish I could say that it was busy and the waiter was overwhelmed, but that wasn't the case. He actually was very nice and realized the mistakes and gave my husband a free dessert - that saved his tip. I do feel that this is a very poorly run restaurant. The kitchen staff are doing what they want and not paying attention to the orders. Yes you could say that we should have returned the food, but, I just wanted out of there

I wanted a local spot that could do a business dinner for a small group. Moon fish was excellent. The service was top notch and the food was outstanding. In addition the prices were reasonable and I was able to stay within my budget.

Didn't honor our reservation, because they were "busy, so sat for 1/2 hour waiting. Then the food was cold and when brought to the attention of our server, said she would fix it and didn't come back.
Love the restaurant! Consider it one of the top ten seafood restaurants in the USA. Fresh fish only. We travel extensively and have eaten across the globe; I love Mamas in Maui, and place Moonfish in that esteemed category. Great variety on the menu and use of local products. A lot of restaurants have good seafood but Moonfish excels!
Our thanks to Mike and Abby who made this visit outstanding. We brought friends with us who were visiting from Connecticut. We had a great time and they very much enjoyed the food. Thank you, Dave Whitman PS-my wife and I still have another month here and will be back before we depart.

Kevin was our server for a table of 8. He did and outstanding job! The food the service were outstanding. The food was fresh, the cocktails were outstanding. And the deserts were fantastic too! Overall, a wonderful night with friends and enjoying fabulous food!

Amazing tower of seafood and king crab legs with tuna and salmon sashimi was so much goodness in one meal. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was absolutely fantastic but our server was even better! Rachel knows the menu like the back of her hand and made exceptional recommendations! She’s the absolute best server I have ever had and I can’t wait to come back to Moonfish to see what other great recommendations she has concerning the menu. I highly recommend asking for Rachel to be your server if you have a chance. Thank you Rachel for making our Valentine’s Dinner so special!
