I was so excited to try Nick Filet after my brother mentioned they had opened a location here in Orlando @ Dr. Phillips.I decided to take my brother for our Christmas lunch there to celebrate the holidays on December 23rd.I was familiar with the location as my brother worked for Donato's pizza many years ago in the same location.The plaza was packed with last minute shoppers but when we walked into Nick Filet at 12:30 it was empty.We ordered two filet sandwiches & fries for a total of $40+.They were small sandwiches served on a simple Kaiser roll. They must be marinated because they had a weird grey color,not a nice seared brown. That told me either the flat top grill isn't hot enough or they were marinated and the amount of liquid made it seem boiled instead of sauteedI personally don't see this concept being able to sustain itself long term IMO

This was such an exceptional experience. The surf and turf grilled cheese was fantastic. Throw in some truffle fries and you are in for a treat.Thank you for a great meal!!!

Very delicious and great quality. I tried the lobster roll and Classnick steak sandwich. The food was fresh, delicious, and the quality was really impressive. Lots of stuff on the menu... definitely will be back to try the other items

Have ordered from this location 4 times since they opened. On my first visit, a double was so big, I ordered a single and it was plenty on my two subsequent visits. However, most recently, we were extremely disappointed with the portion for the price. The lobster roll was roughly the size of a hot dog bun for more than $20. My single was so thin, there was no way it could have been cooked to medium, and you had to take off the top of the bun to even see the meat. Sides are still decently sized. Maybe today was an off day and will give them one more shot at some point, but for the high prices of the entrees I don’t think it can be justified as a customer if this is the new normal.

Just order 8 piece Spicy Steak Bites from this location. What you see is what I got. I was expecting 8 filet mignon bite size pieces as advertised. What a disappointment. Smallest of size, not even enough for a small kid, bland, no flavor, fries were ok…. Will never order from here again.

Nice, if expensive, lunch place. The sandwiches are good, probably worth the money too as it is good beef! Fries are good. Overall good, but expect to spend nearly $20 for lunch.

I was looking forward to trying this place out... I love steak and my wife raved about it and she isn't a steak fan. The staff was nice and the venue clean... But I put it on the same level as any other walk up, deliver to the seat restaurant but double the price. The steak would probably be good but it gets so much special sauce you can't taste it. I was simply underwhelmed but since my wife enjoys it so much, I tried to balance out the rating. Try it for yourself just know it can get pricy quick.

Wonderful food and for a great price! I got the slider with mushrooms and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. We also got a mini Parm Truffle Fry and it was so rich in flavor. I definitely recommend for dine in!

This sounds like it great idea but it didn't do it for me. I got the little bites for my kids and they were over cooked and tiny. For the price we paid I expected more. The sauce options were not great either, I think one was just A1 Sauce
