Expected a fine dining experience, food was excellent, service started off strong and then we went long periods with no server, unfortunately the restaurant had 2 large groups seated with the tables for 2 and 4 people, resulting in a very noisy environment, felt like a bar environment, not what we were expecting
Norman's was absolutely amazing.....delicious entrees, fantastic service (servers were helpful with menu options) if your experience n Orlando don't miss the experience 👍
One of the best food and wine programs in town. Always great. Excellent selections of wine and expertly prepared food with attentive service is a recipe for a perfect evening out.
We went for dinner. They brought out the wrong plate to my wife for her birthday dinner which I then had to wait for her food to be remade while my plate got cold. The oysters brought out were not the same ones that were told to me where available at the start and they looked and felt like the were pre shucked and sitting in the fridge. She ordered truffle with her dish just to find out later they were out of truffle and they brought out some salty mushrooms instead. She loved the wine pairing that the Sommelier did exclusive for her. Over all not dieing to go back. It was steak house pricing without the value.
Lamb was exquisite. It was tender, moist and succulent. All sides were served cool- asparagus, mashed potatoes and collard greens. Servers did not return to check on meal until entree 3/4 consumed. Collards returned to be reheated. They weren't returned until entree had been long completed. l This was a birthday celebration meal totally ruined. Didn't want dessert. Wanted to leave and never return.
Had an amazing time - wished we weren't in a rush when we came. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable and the cleanliness was honestly the cleanest most spotless restrooms I've ever seen in my life. The attention to detail was so unbelievable! Will definitely be coming back!!
Food was beyond excellent. The service was top notch and focused on the customer experience.
Food was amazing! I would highly recommend. It took a while to be greeted by the server but he was super nice and attentive.
Everything is Good , The ambience is superb, The staff very friendly & accommodating, the food is Good
Poor service. Poor / complicated menu . No crowd on Friday evening speaks a lot about the restaurant.

Food and service was excellent. Staff was very attentive. First time dining here, but will be back.

We had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with Norman’s amazing crew. Firstly, shout out to Ian for not only providing me with the dinner service of my foodie-dreams, but also for truly being a shining star at Norman’s and making my birthday dinner special. We started with drinks and small bites. Highly recommend the fried green tomato and the crab beneights. For our main entrees, we had the Key West Snapper and The Scallops. Both dishes superseded expectations. It was the best seared scallop dish, I’ve had the pleasure of eating. From cooking techniques, to the sauces, both dishes were wholesome, rich, and flavorful. The coconut/mango rice pudding and the key lime pie both are desserts that also make the meal come full circle. Ian and the other amazing team members make this experience what it is; from Jayden keeping our waters full, to the bartenders crafting specialty cocktails for our neighboring table that their serve kindly placed an order for us to try the drink, as well, every person here is truly a kind and memorable part of your experience at Norman’s. Don’t skip this amazing spot!

The food we order was well prepared and delicious. Norman's take on Carib/Floridian recipes is laudable. However, the service was well below the standards it should be in an expensive restaurant. Our waiter was rushed and very hard to understand whenever he explained what was on the menu. He usually walked away before we had finished our requests. After being served our main courses, he never checked back with us or appeared to be attentive to our needs. (I asked for an extra dinner roll and he took a long time to return to the table. ) Other waiter assistants or servers -- water, etc. -- were also poorly trained as they tried to clear the table of dishes before both diners had finished their meals. This is a pity as all of our servers, including our main waiter, seemed friendly. Most likely this is not something that can be blamed on the staff. This appears to be a management issue: all staff need to be properly trained before the are allowed on the floor as primary servers. With prices on the high side, it is incumbent upon the restaurant owners/managers to ensure that the quality of table service is commensurate with the quality of the food.
Been to the restaurant a number of times in past years, but this experience was somewhat disappointing. Restaurant was crowded, but noise level was low and the restaurant is very well designed. Wait staff was pleasant, and Sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was not up to par. The shrimp, beignets, and blue crab for tasty, but just average with the shrimp being overcooked. A fig salad with mozzarella was tasteless and not complementing the arugula. The plate was ice cold. The mozzarella did not seem to be freshly made and was as hard as rock. The snapper which was highly recommended what was a decent piece of fish sitting over some flavorless mashed potatoes and asparagus and sorry to say as a signature dish just didn't meet the mark. Hoping it was an off night but it doesn't seem like the same effort is being put into the restaurant, even though the restaurant was packed
