Truly an awful place. How this has anything less than 3 stars is beyond me. They try to sell you on the “experience” but fall short by being simply pretentious. Food is extremely overpriced for what you are getting and I’m not just talking portions but in overall taste. Menu is so limited, yet has too much variety for their own good. They don’t know whether it’s a steakhouse, Italian, Brazilian fusion, Southern. They just know to overprice absolutely everything. Now I don’t mind spending good money on food, but at least have it taste good!!Truly nothing stood out , the most flavorful dish was the octopus and maybe the shrimp and mussel chowder. Other than than the ceviche had no flavor, the scallops were bland, the snapper which was the “chef’s specialty” only had flavor due to the garlic mashed potatoes.Waiter kept on trying to oversell , and really pushed ordering 3-4 course meals and the ridiculously overpriced specials.Trust me when I tell you , even if you have money to blow , don’t do it here. Might as well go to Flemings or Christinis which are both nearby

A little disappointed: this was our second visit since they relocated from the Ritz. We found the menu selections to be too limited/not enough variety to allow meat/fish/seafood selections. I believe any “good” restaurant will offer more variety, especially if beef….Norman’s was quite limited

The food here was phenomenal!Wife and I had dinner and a few drinks. We started with the ceviche and the blue crab beignets. The beignets were surprisingly wonderful! The ceviche was fantastic as well.We split a fillet which they cut in half for us and cooked it perfectly. The fillet honestly was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. As a side, we had the lobster mac & cheese, which was very delicious with large chunks of lobster. We finished off dinner with a salted caramel brownie, which was to die for.Highly recommend this place for a great night out!

Once again Norman's does not disappoint!! Haley was absolutely wonderful offering us some of the best service we have experienced anywhere!! Food was just phenomenal as well from starters to dessert. If you have not been to Norman's — put it at the top of your list.

Love this restaurant and have gone there for many years at both the old & current location. In fact so much, I booked it for 2 nights in a row while in town this week for the annual convention I attend in Orlando. Unfortunately, I was disappointed on both nights. Night one, food & service were great. However, I ordered two different wines for the table. The white Rombauer was sour and when I said something, the server acknowledged that they (not sure who “they”were) had questioned the quality of this bottle, yet still served it to me. They didn't charge me, but should never have served it if it was known to be questionable. Night two, food was great again, and service was mostly ok, except for the fact that the server presented the bill without asking if I wanted any coffee or dessert, which I did. He re-opened the bill and served the dessert, but it he seem a little perturbed about the issue and it was an awkward situation with my guests. I have always been a fan, and may return in the future, but was definitely disappointed on this trip. Lastly, while I feel that the food prices are reasonable, I felt that the wine list was heavily biased to expensive wines with very limited options below $150 bottle.

Drinks and service were amazing. Food was overrated. Crab beignets were oily and salty. Mushroom risotto needed salt. Foie gras French toast was bitter and not as great as the server sold it to be - passion fruit and lime were flavors that didn't mesh on the dish. Not sure how that won an award. There was not one plate that made me want to go back. Best bite was the chocolate truffle at the end and the acorn squash salad.

Beautiful dinner. Excellent food. We particularly enjoyed the Beef Tataki appetizer. My wife had the dessert cheese board as her meal with a salad and both were excellent. The Beef Tenderloin was very good as was the peppercorn sauce. Service was very good but not excellent and I had to pour my own $220 wine a couple of times. Great wine selection at all price points. We will definitely return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dan Manning and I cannot describe how delicious our last dinner in Orlando was last night. Norman's was impeccable. Every single thing we ate had our palates popping with excitement. Starting with the amuse-bouche, to the beef tenderloin tatake and octopus, mushroom risotto with best prepared scallops I've ever had and grouper, and finished it all off with a passion fruit something ? the name escapes me. Top notch! Norman's is definitely a full on fine dining experience. **only negatives...the women's restroom only had two stalls, for a fairly large restaurant. There was a private event on the terrace, which was loud when the doors were opened, otherwise moderate noise. My husband said there were a bunch of drunk guys hanging out in the men's room.

Food was espectacular and the service even better. Lauren did an amazing job, not only explaining every dish fantastically, but also ensuring that we felt great the whole time. Ambience in the outdoor patio on Friday night was great. The live music as background was stellar and the whole experience was truly a great one! Sommelier came to our table and we had a great discussion about the wine we brought etc. Excellent job Norman’s! Strongly recommend the YellowTail Snapper
