Got the gyro plate, comes with rice and a salad $13.99 with tax Gyro was half the size it use to be, salad can't even be called a salad portion wise Rice wasn't only rice Gyro meat is off a spit not made in house, no seasoning or much flavor. The wrap was hard and crusty. Ziki sauce what little there was, wasn't very good. Salad shouldn't even be called a salad cause of it's size and no dressing. Rice wasn't just rice, it had potatoes, peppers, capers with a butter garlic sauce. Rice was ok

This by far is the best Gyro in Orlando! Lots of feta, meat and veggies. My husband and I live across town and will make the trip for takeout. I highly recommend the gyro salad as well.

Was in town and decided to try New York Deli, was walking distance from hotel. Ordered a hot pastrami and swiss cheese sub. When I got back to the hotel I could not be more disappointed at what I had received. All the ingredients were of high quality but my whole sub consisted of what appeared to be three slices of en pastrami ,one slice of swiss cheese broken in half and was so meager that it was almost invisible on the meat.The pastrami that was on the sandwich was tender and tasted good, the bread was great and the onions and tomatoes were equally as good. A sub should at least have enough meat and cheese so that they can be seen when you open the wrapping but in this case the bread was still touching and it looked like an empty roll. In short while the sub started with great ingredients it was a Disney sandwich, what a real sub would taste like was left to the imagination. Quite a shame that a deli could have great ingredients and serve such a poor ten dollar sub.

I have had gyros in many places, even in Greece. This was the best! Very large, chock full of meat, and delicious. Order and pay at the counter, food was ready a few minutes later. Greek salad was ordinary, cannoli was delicious.
I use to frequent this Deli when I worked near there. Their Gyros and Baklava was spot on. My husband stopped by there to bring me lunch. The lamb meat was not cut fresh and on the pita in a warmer which dried out the meet. Hardly any sauce on it. Overall it had very little taste and the pita was too thick. Baklava which I Love was horrible. No Flaky layers and the nut mixture was a a clump in between. Not sure if there is a new owner or new cook-but we will not go back. Sad

Found this place coming through Orlando. Great little deli; enjoyed the gyro very much and came back the next day for a Cuban sandwich. Good food, good prices, great service--the owner is a joy to talk to and still works behind the counter!
