This is not a great place in terms of the speed of service. While my party was relaxing by the Oasis Pool, we decided to get some snacks at the pool bar. We did order our food on time and they told us to wait at our seats. However, the drinks took 30 minutes to arrive and the food is around 45. Not the most timely service at Disney.
The food and drinks can either be good or bad. The pear drink was fine. My Island Hideaway was bearable, with a strong tart flavor that I didn’t like. The fish tacos were decent, and the wonton chips were the best thing. The seasoning on the chips and the duck sauce on the side made it a good dish to get. Overall, would skip if you’re at the Oasis Pool.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, we walked in with a party of six no greeting from the two waitresses they had on duty even though they saw all six parties standing at the door.We finally seated ourselves at a table , one waitress even seated four people that came in behind us at six person seat outside, the waitresses pasted us several times without saying a word. We finally got the drift that they didn’t want our business, as our party was leaving I mentioned that to waitress she stated “she was going to serve you”. I would give this place a minus 10 if I could. In my 70 plus years I never been treated so disrespectfully and I’ve been to restaurants in all lower 48 states in the US. If this restaurant has a problem with dealing with certain members of the public they shouldn’t be open to the public.

Well worth a visit! We had the fish tacos. We relaxed and dined poolside. No crowd. Nice soothing music. Our Bartender Murphy was super positive and fun. ***He needs a raise or promotion. He is what we like about coming here.

Had a delicious lunch and cocktails at this delightful little grill by the pool in Disney’s Polynesian Resort. We were fortunate to be served by a lovely waiter by the name of Marlon, who was truly excellent, a real asset to Disney! We had burgers, wings, chicken wrap and fries. - all very tasty. These were washed down with some cold beer and cocktails. The kids loved the free top ups on soft drinks too. A great experience!
As of right now, it seems like all food service is running out of the bar area. There IS a grill area, which is where food is supposed to be ordered, but that area is still shut down. Disney really needs to get it back up. Because ordering food at the bar really, really bogs down the process. I had some very good food here. I had a chicken wrap which was a really nice change of pace. Would love to see that same chicken wrap available over at Captain Cooks. And, for me the star of everything is the Wonton Chips. Huge portion, nice and salty, great price. I would go out of my way for this snack, especially if I'm in the Magic Kingdom area. The one ding I have is service is just so-so. And, I don't fault the bartenders here. After all, their job is to be a bartender, and they are forced by Disney into this sort of double or triple duty role. I think they are certainly doing their best. But, like I said, the process is very slow. You have one person serving 2,3,4 other people at the bar, but also taking orders AND taking payments. So, you could be 2nd or 3rd line, and still waiting several minutes to order. In my case, I was at Oasis about 45 minutes before I was due to meet someone at the Great Ceremonial House, so I thought I had plenty of time. But, I waited about 10-15 minutes in line, and then another 10-15 minutes for the food. So, then, I am basically scarfing down my food. Disney really needs to get the second area back open, so that there are two places for people to place their orders and pay. I think that would help things tremendously. Also, Mobile Order would be a huge bonus, I think. I will definitely go back to Oasis in the future, but I am more likely to stick to Captain Cooks or Kona Cafe, as they have Mobile Order and the location is a little more accessible.

Nice quiet option at the Poly
Definitely the best pool bar on Disney property!!! Love the fish tacos!!!
Oasis Bar & Grill at the Polynesian Resort on Walt Disney World is a great little gem for hotel guests to enjoy. The Oasis is the non-feature pool (no slide) and is typically less crowded and busy than the main pool, hence the bar & grill usually offers quicker service. Fun menu of tropical-themed beverages including some with Dole Whip ingredients! Small, but interesting food menu. Highly recommended!
